Here in Switzerland with all our taxes , the V costs about the same like a G63.
Honestly that’s to much for that car. A G63 is a different animal.

Rolls-Royce has used the Phantom name on full-sized luxury cars and limousines since 1925, making it the longest used car model nameplate in automotive history. In the 20th century, the Rolls-Royce Phantom was a very low volume, hand-built limousine, which in its first four generations was custom coachbuilt to the customer's requests, and sometimes extravagant desires. Whilst automobile manufacturing over time became more mechanised and prolific, and vehicles from other manufacturers could be built in greater numbers and at lower prices, the Phantoms remained hand-built, and production of individual cars only began once the order was placed. The use of the name "Phantom" is a long tradition of naming Rolls-Royce models after ghosts or spirits.

Efficiency pressures make even the most simple motors subject to reliability issues. Putting super thin 0W-20 oil in these motors did them in.
If you change the oil every 5000miles, 0W20 can work, otherwise it might become expensive.
Who cares about efficiency If you buy this kind of car/truck.
Otherwise everybody would’ve bought the Diesel Escalade.
A bigger fuel tank sorts out everything.
Expect about 15mpg, the mileages of my Maybach and G are BTW identical.

I don’t care, you don’t care, but other people absolutely do. I get about 13mpg from my G63 and it doesn’t bother me at all.
I agree with you. It doesn’t bother me as well.People who care, are usually buying a Sienna minivan.
In Europe,Vans with small Diesel engines are very popular, 40mpg is easily achievable.
Out of curiosity which MJ and color is your G63?
BTW the G has currently the biggest fuel tank of all current Mercedes Benz cars/trucks.
