Why is it unbelievable or shocking? Someone at the show is probably wiping the car constantly causing the swirl marks.

Does everything have to be so dramatic?

You DO realize that RR stripes are hand painted right?? I mean FFS
I sure do,but still when it looks so cheap,so lacking of talent,so lacking of attention to detail...what was the point of hand drawn? I don't get the arguing with such an obvious flaw.

Yes so you are a guy who prefers a hi def print to a Rembrandt... got it!!

Sorry, those choppy lines on a car aren't art,let alone on a car that costs like no other.
I’m sure if you ask them nicely they can delete that from the spec or get you a fancy decal ;) Let us know what spec you finally decide on

I think those lines on the Phantom are still drawn free-handed by a master painter.
They are. Here looks as if they have been painted by an amateur. Look at the lines and they look like they have been painted on with art paint? Also the brush strokes are evident which makes me dubious as the RR master painter does it in one continuous motion. But the lines of the car dictate the length of the coachline. Looking at this example...Do you see the issue?

I don't know why I want one, but I do. Now that the Mully is gone, it's truly unrivaled in the luxury car world.

A car that blew my mind when it came out and still does, as fresh as the first day, a success

The exterior of a Rolls-Royce, especially the Phantom, is meant to convey opulence in a very elegant way in my opinion. Therefore, I feel having the Mansory et al. treatment defeats that very purpose
