Panamera [Official] Porsche Panamera

The Porsche Panamera is a mid to full-sized luxury car (E-segment or F-segment for LWB in Europe) manufactured and marketed by Porsche. The Panamera name, as with the Carrera name, is derived from the Carrera Panamericana race.
Now that ive digested it somewhat..
I still dont know what to say
its very uniqe and cool..
And truely porsche..
but on the other hand im kinda pissed, with this and the cayenne porsche had a clean sheet to work with..they could have came up with someting totally diffrent..
A new kind of design lingo.. from which they could then transfer bits and pieces to the much more traditional 911 series..
So in a way its a chance gone to hell for porsche imo..

PS
WHere is that ohh so talked about wing?
I dont see it..

lol^

It doesn't look bad but I think we were all expecting a bit more from Porsche. The main issue for me is the c-pillar on back. It's a mess of bad cut lines. Why the 5 door anyway? I think it would be a million times better with a boot lid. ***Sigh***

Wow, I'm speechless!

It is terrible, design is so boring, the back is to bi and not in proportion to the bonnet which is to thin. Id defiantly have to think twice about buying this car especially when theres the Aston Martin Rapid coming soon and the S5 4dr coupe:usa7uh:

The GT2 front end works so much better than then noraml Panamera bumper.

Well, well ...

Corona CELIS LED daytime running lights ...

Where did they get the idea? :D

Interesting Porsche haven't opted classic DtRL LEDs like previously.

PS: where are the photos of the rear? Only one so far ... Hiding something? ;)

Tine too thinks the car is hella ugly ;)

So, where is the interior?

Where is the back seat?

Where are the engine specs?

Where is that spoiler?

They have had so many years to make this launch a good launch, and still we are waiting for everything. The only thing we've got are a few ugly pics....not even a press release :(

Well it's not bad at all, but of course exactly what we all expected having seen the numerous spypics.

Rear is not that bad, however not that superb either. So-so impressions so far, and I don't like the cutline of the rear door. The overall shape, front, and side till the rear door is very attractive, after that it's a bit less convincing, with the rear a bit bland. Interesting car nonetheless, even if heavy as hell which is completely diappointing in these times of "lightness is everything".

What I don't like: rear door shutline, bit bland front bumper, rear bumper with weird plate placement, and the disastrous rear lights. These rearlights are just awful...too complicated, heavy, uninteresting...

Surely it will look better IRL. However, it's sure is a lot better than Ugly Cayenne!! I kinda like it so far, it's not love but I like it. Can't wait for pics with proper rims, and to see it IRL.

I think it looks really good actually, a lot better than I thought according to spy pics. How much is the entry level price going to be? For reference a 911 is £55k in UK.

Eni: Classic LED DTRL will be seen on the normal Panamera while the Turbo will have those BMW-ish ones.

The images seen so far are leaks i.e unleashed by sites that have broken the embargo. All the beans will be dropped tomorrow.

Re: Porsche Panamera Thread III (Spy pics & info)

The rear is the worst I 've ever seen... Absolute disaster.

Front is very nice.

Re: Porsche Panamera Thread III (Spy pics & info)

It's strange but i seriously have no opinion on this.

Here's something for you who are wondering where the wing is. Like with the Veyron and Bentley CGT the pop up wing is discretely hidden at the bottom of the rear window:
