This is the prettiest ,outside and inside, of all the current breed of super cars including LaFerrari and McLaren P1 imo, especially P1 which seems to be unfinished design-wise. Since its a Porsche, I can also assume that it will last longer than its contemporaries without quality glitches.

Now, we already know that it can do THIS

But apparently the test cars have done the 1082-mile journey from Zuffenhausen all the way down to Valencia, rather than being transported by planes/trucks...Now, I'm completely convinced that if I were take ANY hypercar for a long journey, I'd skip right past the P1 and the LaFerrari, and get in one of these babies

Late post, but better late than never ;)

100% agree. The ultimate GT

GT is still a bridge too far, as it is not comfy enough to challenge the likes of the Ferrari F12,the Merc S63 AMG Coupe, the Bentley Conti GT,or the Aston Vanquish...However, as far as hypercars are concerned, it is THE closest one for sure. IF I had enough money to be able to afford one, you better believe it'd be driven on a regular basis, even for long distance

Apparently, Mark Webber took Maria Sharapova on a joyride in the 918 Spyder yesterday...
Webber made the right choice, spending some time with Maria in the car rather than driving this year's uncompetitive RB.

Only the 918 showed up to the party at NYIAS. No P1 or LaFerrari :(
This car looks lovely in these pictures, the design of the car is so pure and pretty compared to the P1 (aggressive and functional engineered) and Le Ferrari (aggressive with striking looks).

Wow this car is fast!! I can't wait till we see the German mags testing this car!!

With other words: you cannot wait for the 1000+ hp German presscars? :D :censored:

Yep maybe we will be all shocked or blown away by what figures AMS/AutoBild Sportscars and especially AZ achieve!!! haha:p:nailbiting:

MotorTrend-numbers in "European" :) (without rollout)
  • 0 - 50 km/h: 1,5 s
  • 0-100 km/h: 2,8 s
  • 0-160 km/h: 5,2 s
  • Quarter mile: 10,2 s (234 km/h)

The most impressive figure to me is the 1,3 s 50-100 kph time. The car's launch is (at least according to the numbers) far from brutal, or epic, or anything "über". A normal Carrera S with PDK can manage 1,5 s to 50 kph.

But above... :dead:
