911 (992) [Official] Porsche 911 (992 Series)

The Porsche 992 is the eighth generation of the Porsche 911 sports car, which was introduced at the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles on 27 November 2018.
So, it's the same car as a 992 GTS but with a bigger displacement engine, a fancy paintjob, houndstooth seat panels and a big fat number on the door. Oh and ducktail FTW for some...

It does 0-100 km/h in 4.1s which is identical to the GTS. It has a 4 km/h higher top-end. You'd get smoked by the cheapskate in his PDK-equipped GTS.
And it's twice the price. It's just not smart money, no matter how much you have. Sorry Porsche but this little "exclusive" side-hustle you've got going is BS.
With the current craziness of the automotive world and the upcoming electrification of the sports cars, I wonder if what doesn't seem smart money now (I fully agree on your argumentation) may become in a few years...

This car will be sold out in a blink of the eye and will also be a future classic and collectors item.

Exquisite

While arguably presenting some mutual redundancies, my revised 992 "Dream Garage" would consist of...:

The new Sport Classic coupe (sans decals)...plus...

A GT3 Touring Package...plus...

A 992 Carrera 4S Cabriolet...plus...

A 992 Carrera 4S Targa Heritage (sans decals).

Can you have Sport Classic without decals and number?

I read in the press release that the stripes are painted. So, not sure. I believe that the number is a decal though. Imagine driving around in a EUR 300k car with a big fat number on the side. You'd look a right tool.

I found it on configurator. Decals can't go away but you can have it without number.

It would be the number that would have to go. The rocker-and mid-section striping would be acceptable though.

That being said, for a fee, Porsche is reknown to be "highly resourceful". The question may be: "Would these deletions diminish the value of the car as a collectors item ?".

I love the "Nuevo-Fuchs" 5-spoke rims. They'd look great on any 992-and quite probably on the Taycan or Macan as well.
