I think the base 911 has been much more competative since it was turbo charged. The S is the default option if you want a "quintessential" Porsche experience however the base is is urgent enough for 55-70 year old non-hooning drivers.The base numbers are a bit of a let down! Porsche is a victim of its own marketing strategy. it has gained too much weight and too little Hp. this is where i draw the line, 379hp for $99K (and that's without any options! and yes it needs options). That's a big no!

What criticsm?This is indeed Aventurine green. It's a great looking color. It is the green version of Graphite blue (no longer offered). Despite it's criticism, I've grown to like the new 992, mainly the exterior design aspect. I think it definitely has more presence on the road vs 991.
