Love everything About it except for the rear lights those looks unnecessarily fussy

I'm a traditionalist but can appreciate why the rear looks like it does. For those who think all 911s look the same, the sinister design of the tail lights, and bumper add sportiness and aggression that was missing from the previous elegant 911s.

It's when you compare the rear of the 992 to the 997 that you realise just how big of a styling change Porsche has made. You can say it's not a more exciting looking car that is less understated in the company of the AMG GT, R8 V10 or new Vantage.

However I do agree with those saying that painted diffusers and from bumper would been nice to see. Some people will consider the 991 more beautiful.

What do y'all think of the two brakelight strips in the engine cover vent? I'm so not sure about them...
I have come to terms with the shelf on the dash - I think it's a nice differentiator.

Information overload! I look forward to find out whether the information displayed changes with different driving modes, satnav or infotainment choices.

I like that little gear selector. Opens up the centre console space nicely. So, now to put the PDK in manual mode you press the M button behind the selector stalk as a opposed to currently knocking the gear lever to the left.
Also, park is activated by a similar button labeled "P" leaving the gear selector purely for R, N and D selection.

It's a half step forward. They should have just put buttons for P, N and R and called it a day. That way, you couldn't have a gear selector obstructing the temperature and fan toggles.

So let's sum up the highs and lows designwise for me.

Highs
1. The quad exhaust ( which amazing enough is the standard exhaust, the sports is the 2 pipe system) is just so pretty and mean.
2. The rev counter is so fly, i wish i had it in my Panamera
3. The hips
4. The light bar
5. The wing, so amazing together with the light bar.
7. The toggle switches in the interior, so sweet.
8. The third break light so neat.
9. The gear selector, looks like one of those toggle switches but bigger.
10. Door handles


Lows:
1. The fact that the bonnet shutline is further to the front that the bumper gap, doesen't line up.
2. The lower front lip which seems to be black and for now not paintable. ( this will probably come)
3. The housing of the screen seen from the passenger side, looks like it will be sunk in, totatlly different approach than the panamera where it sits flush with the dash, i belive flush screens and glass surfaces give a more mordern look.

So yeah thats 10 vs 3, easy to say i love this thing.

PS
I still think the Panamera has the best interior out the whole line up, and the only car that can change that now is the Taycan, i do not expect the Macan or the Boxster/Cayman to have interiors that top the Panamera.

3. The hips

For those who don't know yet, all 911s have the same rear width. The AWD variants are no longer wider than the RWD ones.

That's a trully gorgeous looking car and I like the "kind of minimalist" interior a lot, in addition to its great exterior. Much prefer it with the dual single exhaust over the 4 pipes one.

There's no better way to wake than to a brand new 911. Absolutely stunning!

True. But I need warming up, the rear has something weird in it. Mostly the bumper, as I really dig the lights. There seems something off in the area between the lights and the lower bumper.

Really impressive with an "old school" vibe. The only thing bugging me is that gear shifter, what they hell were they thinking about? Love the quad exhaust. I might not be able to resist putting another 4S in the garage!

The sad thruth is, I would kill a person if that would mean BMW made a competitor to the 911. They don't even have anything like that. So who exactly am I protecting?? An Aston? An AMG GT? A McLaren or a Ferrari? You can choose.

I don't like it as much as the rest here and that must be because I am a BMW fanboy right?
I'll grow to love it as much as your blind 911 fanboy eyes do in not too long, but I need time and you are going to give me time.
