Utopia [Official] Pagani Utopia

The successor to the Huayra, named Utopia, was revealed on 12 September 2022. A total of 99 examples of the closed coupé model are planned, with open and track variants possible in the future. All 99 coupés are already assigned to the customers. The first car was delivered in October 2023. The Utopia uses the same M158 twin-turbocharged V12 engine as the Huayra, designed and built by Mercedes-AMG, but upgraded to produce 864 PS (635 kW; 852 hp) at 6000 rpm and 1,100 N⋅m (811 lb⋅ft) of torque available between 2800 and 5900 rpm. Pagani partnered with Xtrac to develop a 7-speed gearbox that will be mounted transversely, available as a pure manual or an automated manual, and coupled with an electro-mechanical differential by a triple plate clutch.

Pagani's are like literally fine wines over time they get more exquisite, least for me. It's why with them I tend to wait a little before saying too much, particularly asethetics. Even in my opinion the Bugatti Chiron in time, maybe surpassed by this car! We'll see.

They are masterfully designed

Huayra, Zonda and Utopia.

That Utopia is rolling sculpture.

I actually completely agree. But I've stopped a little, disagreeing with others, they'll think what they think regardless.

However it's growing on me more rapidly as time passes. The launch specification however I individually think wasn't the finest, one thing I've learned with Pagani is expect the unexpected because they're always many many steps ahead of us.

I know the "BC" or Spyder versions will be absolute killers!🙂

I agree with you. But I understand anyone who has reservations because of the launch spec. Total blunder by Pagani.

Incredible.
It looks like a fancy puffy purse with all the strings, chrome, leather and jiggles––more of a fashion statement (or lack thereof) than a hypercar proper.

more of a fashion statement
I think it's a glorious spec.
Especially the blue/silver, a very original and very tasteful "two tone" shape that sets it apart from other hyper's and even from itself.
I see it as I said before, as an extension of the metals, forms and textures used in the interior transferred to the exterior which gives it a lot of sense and the appearance of a jewel in a huge surface.

I think it is a success as an option, I don't know if it is a real Pagani option or someone's render, in any case I love the possibility, it looks like a Million dollars, well 4 or 5 million I think would be more correct.

You might of missed these, but look at! No jewellery is needed here in bare exposed carbon fibre!🙂

Confirm what I just said and someone else expressed before, it is a piece of art on wheels, that environment conceptually describes the car

I don't miss much ;)
I said this in the previous thread: it is no coincidence that people like the car better in the exposed carbon treatment; the carbon mesh distracts the eye from the overstyled lines and elements, and the greyness dims the design's overall bulbousness.

Also, note the few 'official' pictures from the side, which is among the weakest angles of the design due to the incongruous proportions.

Incredible.
If it was revealed in one of these specs, it would have been a total winner.

Since we got the grandpa spec at launch... It completely changed the outlook on this car.

I completely agrree. And yet knowing (of) Horacio all these years I can't help but think that atleast in his mind there must of been a reason why it was specified that way.

I'm sure someone's asked already and the answer is out there somewhere if buried.🙂

Absolutely gob smacked by this details on this cars design of all its components. Chech the brake calipers, they are totally unique to any other car how they are designed.
