Huayra [Official] Pagani Huayra

The Pagani Huayra, a successor to the Pagani Zonda, was initially revealed online in a press release on 25 January 2011. It was officially revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car is named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata. The engine is a 6.0-litre twin-turbo M158 V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG producing 544 kW (740 PS; 730 hp) and 1,000 N⋅m (740 lb⋅ft) of torque. The Huayra's body is made from carbotanium; a lightweight composition of carbon fibre and titanium. The Huayra has been redesigned from the ground up, but shares many visual qualities with its predecessor. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h). Only 100 units of the Huayra were produced, each costing £1,000,000 (1.05 million US$) without options.
I´ve already seen the car without camo, the exterior has no surprises, it´s EXACTLY as the last spy pics suggest. The interior is just a piece of art, combinig beige and dark brown (or at least looked like dark brown), the gauges are very futuristic, and it has an enourmous touch screen in the mid section of the central console, and the final name of the car (Huayra) in the passenger side of the car, in chrome.. The final output is 700 PS, btw.

^WTF where have you seen it..dont do this to me..
Show me..

PS
Those arrows on the scetch show the active front spoiler and airflow:)

Oh god here it is:)

Need to take it easy now..and breath:D

Yeah im reserving judgement aswell..
I think it will be kick ass in the end..

The thing that im worried about is the doors..i mean look at that low seating postion and the huge gap.. People complain about closing the SLS´s doors..this is a whole new ball game..

'20 unidades anuales' sounds rather modest. And since 20 cars per annum makes the car very exclusive EUR 1 million sounds not so scary.

Good point, ...and if they applied their ingenuity to this issue, Im guessing they'd do what Rolls Royce did to solve a similar issue with their suicide doors: simply include a button that closes the door automatically.

BTW, Luw', that's a classic comparison!!! and damn near spot-on in appearance.

Ugh, no. If they applied their ingenuity they would leave that part out because this is a sports car not a fat limo.

So far not as good (looking) as the Zonda, but we will see...

Hah exactly forget a electrical closing mechamism..
They dont even put electric seats due to the weight..
;)

Only way they would have that is if they came up with a way of making that closing mechanism super light but i doubt it;)

A friend of mine is journalist, he got the pictures a few hours ago. I´ve seen that pic without every logo, so CAR should have the same pics I´ve seen.

Mixed feeling..definitely lots more pics needed..but yeah i can safely say that for now i think Zonda look better.

Uggh, they really kept that front end which I always thought was part of the camo? Or is this a render? Hope it is latter.

In this instance, I'm not sure what the type of car has to do with the suggested solution.

Unless of course you're implying what Artist has explained about the weight of such a system.

Who knows, maybe they'll go with a similar approach to the Gumpert Apollo:

I am so sorry Artist but this is how all the sequels are ....
:) Still I think IRL it will look quite extraordinary...

Good luck.;)

Yep im starting to get worried..but im a optimist..

Lets see

One thing is clear though.. it will perform like a mofo..:)

Look at all that active aerodynamics:)

Ooooh! I like it, one thing I hate in the Zonda is the long rear, in this one there isn't one so that's a good thing. I can quite surely say I love this car :D
