Huayra [Official] Pagani Huayra Roadster

The Pagani Huayra, a successor to the Pagani Zonda, was initially revealed online in a press release on 25 January 2011. It was officially revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car is named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata. The engine is a 6.0-litre twin-turbo M158 V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG producing 544 kW (740 PS; 730 hp) and 1,000 N⋅m (740 lb⋅ft) of torque. The Huayra's body is made from carbotanium; a lightweight composition of carbon fibre and titanium. The Huayra has been redesigned from the ground up, but shares many visual qualities with its predecessor. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h). Only 100 units of the Huayra were produced, each costing £1,000,000 (1.05 million US$) without options.
Looking absolutely glorious on the Geneva Palexpo floor

Not sure why they felt the need to display the Zonda though, oh well

After the Ferrari configurator and the McLaren 720S configurator, now we have the Huayra roadster configurator....Now I know how to waste hours tonight after gym & dinner :p

Damn all of the manufacturers are hitting home run after home run! This, the Performante, the 720, the 812...good time to be a car nut.

With all these new hypercars (Project: One, Valkyrie, etc.) and some of the negative coverage from vloggers, I wonder if Pagani is selling the Huayra at the same clip. More often than not, those who can afford this can afford many other high-end cars. But I do wonder if the level of desire is close to what it was 2 years ago. Personally, I am not as ga-ga as I was, but then again, I still hold the Zonda at a higher esteem.

Yes roadster sold out all BCs sold out and the regular huayra production done.
Pagani still offers some thing beyond other hyper cars.. their cars are like rolling art.

With that said I'm interested to see what's next. Want them to make a real successor to the zonda performance wise.

LaArtist, you're the Pagani-nut 'round these parts, so what do you think he's going to do next? Is he going to embrace electric? Or hybrid? Or none of the above? V12 or V8?

V12 NA hybrid is my bet the zonda was famous for its sound and the let down with the turbo huayra was big blow to the image of a pagani.
So I would say something along the routes of la Ferrari set up wise.

And no V8 even though MB recommended a V8 but since a pagani is and should be something very exclusive and at the top of the good chain both f less than v 12 cuts it.

Someone in my area took delivery of a roadster. First Huayra that’s made me think “wow, that’s beautiful”. The front no longer has a catfish look. Slimmer and more angular is the appearance.

Amazing details. The carbon-titanium work is the best on any car. Complete symmetry.

I see they've finally put a US bracket for the license plate. It just looked out of place with a stuck plate to one side of the bumper just because the owner didn't want to hide the "Pagani" in the Euro bumper.
