The i5 M60 is an EV tho dawg.
They have an 550e which is a hybrid + B58.
Mercedes has an E53 which sits in the same space - Hybrid + M256.

So no German manufacturer has a non-performance V8 model on offer.

I5 M60 still costs as much as an E53 AMG/ What an E580 would cost.

Mercedes should then be the pioneer that they are & Bring the V8 to the E-class.

Yeah i mean they got funds to burn on these goddamn EQ cars with speakers mimicking a V8 so why not make a real V8 car?

I agree.

The E580 would sell because of the same reasons the GLE 580 sells, the soft suspension and the not too shouty engine.

The biggest problem of the current E53 and the old E63 is their stiff suspension.

AMGs are always stiff and sporty, even in the comfort mode.

Yes the M550i is dropped but the i5 M60 is the new M-lite 5 series, do you know how much that costs?

The E580 would do just fine.

The "new" doorhandles appear to have been integrated into the flow of the exterior design relatively well. Purely in the context of aesthetics, I've always liked the flush/retractable version applied to M-B vehicles. But this regulation compliant version is a lot less of an eyesore than I had anticipated.
