Cant wait for the first reviews to come out. From what I am guessing, judging from the W223 vs W222 and W206 vs W205, the new W214 E-class will offer the following improvements over the W213,

1) Lower NVH levels, especially on rough roads (road or tyre noise) and high autobahn speeds (wind noise)
2) Even more supple ride and absorption of harsh bumps
3) With RW steering, the car will be even more agile especially at lower speeds.
4) Sharper steering at lower speeds, helped by RW steering.
5) More comfortable seats
6) Much more tech
7) added space

I think the new E Class looks a lot more expensive than the current model and I am afraid it will also be a lot more expensive. We might see +€20k price hikes compared to the current E Class? Wouldn't be surprised if it was priced like-for-like with the EQE.

I really, really like this car. Can’t wait to drive it! As soon as it hits the showroom floor, I’m taking one to drive to the office to compare it to W223. If it drives the way I think it does, we’ve got a winner.
PS @HUTSUTAo what language is that?

Great video that certainly highlights the nice styling and interior of the new E-class. Just some general comments, I really hope that the black lower door panel cards and storage bin is not hard plastic and is padded as in the current W213. Good thing is they put felt material in the door bins, although its missing from the glove compartment lid. The front seats backrest looks broader than the current W213 which is in a way a good thing as it could allow more space for bigger people. Rear seats look more padded so I think will make them more comfortable. The boot has added convenience of having buttons on the side of the boot to release the seat backs and tow hook instead of the pull out handles under parcel shelf of the W213.

Wow, how I wish the classic grille came with the AMG pack! I just cannot own a standard non-sport package Mercedes.

As much as I like the AMG kitted E-class , I think the W214 model to have is the classic grill (exclusive), it has a nice lower intake and that new grill is TOPS.

Even with a smaller mag and standard lights it looks elegant.

Yeah but on the other hand, at least the AMG grille doesn't look like an aftermarket hack job like it does on the S63 AMG which looks near ruined with that sad grille.

^The upcoming E63 will get the same grill though.

It appears Mercedes AMG is moving away from the inverted Panamericana shape for the sedan lineup.

Not sure this video has been posted before but the closeup shots are excellent. I wonder if they use a 4K camera as the paint shine just looks that much clearer. The interior aspects of the W214 are on another level compared to other cars in this class.
