Just some tweaks to the graphics and it's perfection. The proportions are perfection. Interior looks and reportedly feels stunning, just being back some physical controls and it's basically setIt’s the best looking E since the W211 imo.

The most beautiful E-class design since w211. A masterpiece that doesn't need 70 pages of discussion to love. It doesn't need to look different. Just beautiful.
Now let's wait for the G60. I don't think it will look that effective. The headlights will look very similar to the X1. The overall silhouette will resemble the E-class. The interior won't be thrilling, with a classic display that looks similar to the G70. Mercedes may have come to the fore in design 2 generations later. BMW has been at the forefront of design since F10.

Sheeesshh!!! Take all my money. Motherf*cker looks gorgeous. Definitely a dream spec.
All I know is that in this part of the world, Mercedes dealers are overflowing with inventory. I do see more EQ cars on the roads now, I guess they're cutting deals on them to get them moving. The dealer here has S-Classes, GLEs, GLSs, and C-Classes line up Toyota has Camrys.

And I believe they know this now. The question becomes what replaces them, another generation of EQ vehicles or does the next E and S go full EV. Either way I don't think they'll make the same mistake again. Mercedes has fumbled the first generation of a new vehicle a few times now.In Europe, the EQE and EQS sedans appear to fail to convey the statement that their targeted potential customers want to receive. In terms of unit sales, the performance of the EQ sedans has been tepid at best. M-B decision makers appear to be well aware of this. The successors of these cars will almost certainly be far more appealling in all aspects.

From what I've understood so far, the next generation of E and S class sedans will be underpinned with the MB.EA-L electric architecture and jettison the "EQ" nomenclature. Their presentation dates are apparently scheduled for approximately "2027/2028-ish". Current W/S214 and W223 cars will enjoy extended life cycles encompassing facelifts and continued to be offered in parallel into the early 2030's.
And yes, I wholeheartedly agree. M-B has quite the history of fumbling first generation new model offerings.
If they design their EVs properly like Lucid, interior volume shouldn't be an issue. Will MB.EA-L be a dedicated EV architecture or will it be akin to what BMW has done with the 7 and 5? If it is indeed a dedicated EV platform they have a huge task of meeting interior space requirements while coming up with designs that can hold a candle to their ICE offerings.
Still charge an arm and a leg even on normal cars… even a GLE 350 has oversAll I know is that in this part of the world, Mercedes dealers are overflowing with inventory.
