Too bad Mercedes Australia will not allow us to choose anything. These days every combination is pre set in "optional packages" meaning 99.99% of the cars has the same exterior and interior combinations.

Mercedes uk has done this with the gle coupe, other than towbar, the only options are colours of paint and leather. Makes it easier apparently for finance companies to calculate values. Unbelievable.

Some one created this render for LWB E-Class based on W214, even though those Maybach grille wont appear in the front, IMO this side profile is close to the reality.

Yes but if the GLEs are anything to go by the GLE53 is a 6 pot with LESS power than the GLE580 (and I think more expensive) .. the GLE580 should have been an AMG lite. Don’t understand it at all

These pics are stunning pure MINI S class love it and I think the stars in rear lights will look good in real..

Overall this car is looking great I have always bought E classes bec I feel they fill the middle ground and the S was just to big for me .

This E to me is almost perfect I would have preferred the car without the non glossy black atleast a option to not have that in the grill..

The side profile looks as good or even better than the S.

I like the new front lights they different but also I like the curvy look something different from the market.

The interior I actually feel this screen looks better then the hyper screen also the standard screen looks wise I put it ahead of the S class

One thing I am so glad is u get wood and the grey centre console options not even the mighy S gets the option which is don’t get.

Yea if money was not a issue I would probably take a S class

Overall I think this is a huge improvement from w213

There are only a few E class, that I think are worth to spec up with all the extras imaginable. So much extras, the price comes very close to or surpasses S class pricing. Normally, in that case I’d take the S in a second. But the following fully loaded E I’d consider seriously in stead of a contemporary S class:
- W114

- W211

and…W214

Yep. Branding run amok. The I6 in all its current forms is just not a true AMG engine. It's where Mercedes screwed themselves IMO. All those cars should have been a "500" like it is in the S500 is. Then the AMG on top of that should have been a V8 the "55" like in the SL55. 53 is just nothing to me at this point. Waste of AMG branding. The 4 and 8 cylinders AMGs are handbuilt, the I6 isn't ..it's strictly an off the shelf unit. That might change with the new E and CLE for whatever they're planning on top of the 53 models.

Are there any info how driving assistant works? How long you can drive without touching steering wheel and if it changes line - overtake on highway automaticly? On videos Ive seen that G60 will have very advanced driving assistant+, you only have to look in left mirror and it will overtake automaticly and you dont need to touch a steering wheel. Since Im a lot on highway, I really like this function.

Because of the tail light graphics, the rear has greater presence than the S class.

Definitely agree with you on this one, the shape of the E-class taillights as well as their graphics is different to the S-class or C-class or any other Mercedes saloon and this difference will make it look alot fresher than the S-class or C-class, which has the same straight lined shape of tail lights with end point on the boot lid whereas E-class is wavey and not triangular shaped and doesnt end as a point on the boot lid.

Delivery to customers or showroom premiere is in September 2023.
The order release of the first 6 engine variants (E 200, E 220d, E 220d 4matic, E 300e, E 300e 4matic, E 400e 4matic) will take place at the end of June 2023 / beginning of July 2023.
The other planned engine versions will appear at a later date.

I'd take that to mean it's a photoshop.
