A6/S6/RS6 Official: New Audi A6 (C7)

Sounds nice.

Very fast for an standard A6.

It's not exactly a standard A6. It's got a nice supercharged engine with a "T" in its name.

I think that the standard A6 is supposed to be the one with the 2.0lt diesel engine. But then again, I might have just got it all wrong...

Those times are impressive compared to the (C6)S6. I know the this generation trimmed some fat,but that is a major improvement.

Saw my first new A6 last week, it was parked outside the dealership. The overall proportion is more dynamic than the previous model, if you are a car guy then you won't have problems telling those 2 apart, however the car just doesn't look that expensive. The new front end is aggressive, but it is lacking some bright chrome work to make a statement as a mid size luxury sedan.

I saw one yesterday at a Dealer as well. It's nice and elegant, but doesn't really look very expensive or even too new in any solid way, and doesn't look as good as the A4 or A8 IMO, especially due to the less elegant greenhouse portion. The front is okay but it tries a bit hard, and doesn't exude much luxury.

All in all, a nice car, but I don't think that it'll be a major threat to either of the big 2 just yet, at least not in the States.

I'm a big fan of both the 5er,and E-Class design, but after seeing a couple A6 prestige I have to say it appears to be the most modern looking out the trio. Especially with it's new front end, quite possibly the best looking face in the line up.

I gotta see a side by side of all of them IRL, as it'll make for some great eye candy. What didn't strike me about the front was that it looked a little forced, especially in context with the rest of the car, and at the same time, very angularly cut, yet the front end still maintained that traditional sort of "bubbly" Audi look.

Either way, I think the car looked very mature, especially from the side profile. It's the most low-profile and clean offering of the Big 3, which is exactly what Audi should be.

No dammit, it should be BMW, and it isn't:t-banghea

As much as I like the F10 and the W212, i'm quite certain this would be my car of choice between the three. Simple, understated audi elegance. And its beautiful in the aviator blue as well!

The times are impressive but the car looks bouncy through the cones and typical Audi FWD + engine hanging over the front axle - understeer.

Now that's a good commercial. Too bad Audi will probably get accused of being "un-American" or "un-PC" for pointing out the obvious.

It might be a good ad, but it's not telling us anything new. Don't tell me how bad the roads are, tell me how good the car is. Just my opinion.

Good commercial. Finally something unchildish from Audi, and at the same time, they are pointing out some really alarming aspects of today's motoring.

Damn,I want an S6 "Ultra"!

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
