e-tron GT [Official] Audi e-tron GT

The Audi e-tron GT is a battery electric executive car produced by Audi since late 2020 as part of the e-tron battery electric sub-brand, and the third fully electric car model, after Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback SUVs. It is also Audi's first full-sized electric sedan, and the RS e-tron GT, put on the market in 2021 is, in terms of 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) times, the fastest Audi sedan to date. Based on the J1 platform shared with the Porsche Taycan, the car went on sale in March 2021.
Nope, not all.

Even the non- RS GT with 20" has pretty much the same shitty efficiency.

Even with “shitty efficiency”, for me it still is the best looking and most attractive BEV.
Seen a Lucid several times now, both in the Netherlands and in Germany. When you see it in your rear mirror, it really looks impressive: wide and low.

Except your numbers are wrong.

The Lucid Air Grand Touring did 410 miles in the car and driver 75mph range test.

And the Lucid Air Pure which has the same battery size as the Audi ETron (~92kwh) did 310 miles (vs to 240 miles for Audi Etron). That is 30% more efficient. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a44106717/2023-lucid-air-pure-awd-by-the-numbers/

No doubt, Lucid is the most efficient EV at the moment but I think the Audi is not really bad.

The e-tron GT usable battery is 83 kWh and Air Pure has 92kWh so the MPGe is 2.89 vs 3.36 resulting 15.04% better drivetrain efficiency for Lucid.

Why would you use usable battery size for one and total size for another? That makes no sense.

And "not really bad" is just euphemism for mediocre.

I took the data from this website:

Agree, its a mediocre EV if you compare it to Lucid which is arguably the best EV in the world right now.

A new route to emotional design, performance and comfort: The Audi e-tron GT quattro

  • New entry level e-tron GT quattro can be ordered now priced from £88,555(OTR)
  • Available with standard and Vorsprung specification options
  • Peak output of 584PS (with Launch Control); 0-62mph in 4.0 seconds
  • Up to 384 miles of range and up to 320kW charging capacity
Ingolstadt/Neckarsulm, May 13, 2025 – Audi is continuing to strengthen its extensive and diverse electrified portfolio with new variants that broaden its appeal, the latest being an additional version of the e-tron GT that offers an attractive new entry point to the range. The e-tron GT quattro can call on up to 584PS to deliver impressive performance, while also covering up to 384 miles when its battery is fully charged, a process which is expedited by its exceptional 320kW charging capability. The new entry level Grand Tourer is available to order in the UK from today priced from £88,555(OTR), and deliveries are due to begin in August.

“UK customers took delivery of more electric Audi models than any other European market in 2024, and not for the first time we also saw one of the highest levels of demand worldwide for the e-tron GT,” comments Audi UK Director José Miguel Aparicio.

“Just by looking at the car, it’s easy to see why it strikes a chord with our customers, and when you also factor in the versatility it offers in terms of range and charging capability, and its exceptional blend of performance, practicality and comfort, the sheer depth of its appeal really becomes clear. This new version carries all those strengths through to a new price point that is sure to make this beautiful Grand Tourer an even more attractive proposition.”

The Audi e-tron GT quattro rounds off the existing GT family, which comprises the S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT performance. It has a system output of 503PS (584PS with Launch Control). Thanks to a gross battery capacity of 105kWh (net 97kWh) and a range of up to 384 miles, it can very capably fulfil the Grand Tourer role but is equally at home in city traffic.

The newcomer also features an impressive charging capacity of up to 320kW. This means that only short charging stops are needed, as around 177 miles of range can be regained in just 10 minutes. The high-voltage battery’s full charging power is available in an expanded thermal range. The e-tron route planner automatically preconditions the energy storage system, thus ensuring the best possible charging performance.

Progressive – inside and out
The Audi Gran Turismo philosophy is embodied not only by the model’s long-distance capability but also by its striking design language. Large wheels, a sleek coupé-like silhouette, and an extended wheelbase contribute to the vehicle’s sporty proportions. At the front, a black mask accentuates the inverted body-colour Singleframe, while at the rear, an elegantly designed diffuser with vertical fins makes for a powerful finish. Characteristics such as the low drag coefficient of 0.25 and the controllable air intakes help to deliver impressive efficiency and interior acoustics – ideal for relaxed driving.

Dynamics meet everyday usability
The sleek roofline gives the vehicle a dynamic silhouette. Located in the underbody, the high-voltage battery features strategically placed recesses in the battery pack that serve as footwells and provide generous seating comfort for all passengers. The driver and front passenger travel in luxury on eight-way adjustable sport seats with integrated headrests that prove particularly comfortable on long journeys. The rear seat backrest can be partially or completely folded down so that sporting equipment can be stowed in the 405 litre luggage compartment. There is also a front compartment with a volume of 77 litres.

Less weight, optimum balance
Working with the standard adaptive air suspension, the intelligent quattro system distributes the drive torque between the front and rear axles rapidly and fully variably, ensuring optimum traction in a wide range of driving conditions. To perform that task, the system analyses the driving situation and adjusts the power distribution accordingly in just a few milliseconds. The Audi e-tron GT quattro weighs around 30kg less than the S model, benefiting dynamics and efficiency in equal measure.

Production and UK specification
Like the other GT models, the new version is produced at the Audi Sport GmbH Böllinger Höfe plant in Neckarsulm. In the UK it is available as the e-tron GT quattro or the e-tron GT quattro Vorsprung, which adds features such as all-wheel steering, a head-up display, Fine Nappa Leather upholstery and Bang & Olufsen audio to the already extensive equipment list.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
