Is that what you want? I thought nobody was interested so i didn't post them up earlier.
Bless you monster, I was about to lose my mind. Right, so this clarifies it then. All engines are longitudinally mounted and yet they still manage to achieve such a short front overhang. Tremendous feat Audi.
So, over time 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder A4's will be offered with Audi's latest version of quattro where the front differential is located ahead of the clutch.
a. I wonder what implications this has for S-Tronic (nee DSG)
b. I'm surprised that they went this complex route - let's call it "going to all the trouble" for FWD models.
P.S. I'm always interested in engine bay pics.
The front overhang is reduced to 866mm, not bad, but the C-class's is a whole 101mm shorter at 765mm
Audi A4 has longitudinally mounted engines for the last few generations so this one could had been no exception.
What about the new Bluetec engines? Particulary V6 TDI?
V6 TDI will be available in Europe from launch and next year in US.
sorry to sound stupid but which of them are the S-line?![]()
I have some questions equipement vise. Thanks for the answers
- Does anybody know if LED rear lights will be avaliable as an option (like in A6 avant)?
- LED daylight running lights are avaliable with xenon plus option. What will replace the LEDs on regular lights?
- Whitch engines will also come in the future?
- When (if) S-tronic (DSG) will be avaliable?
Me too, Yannis. With the right color and rims, the new A4 looks gorgeous. The new A4 is amazing, the more i see it the more i like it.
