OMG! This thread is expanding so fast that I can barely follow the whole conversation!
I haven't checked it since yesterday and I can't believe there are 15 more pages! BTW, the B8 A4 looks so damn nice in white, especially with those killer rims!

Well, now after seeing all those pics i admit i like it very much. Everything, inside out. Interior is great and better looking than the competition, absolutely! Red color doesn't suit this car at all. White and others will do the job. The car looks very elegant from all angles, but what bothers me is that i don't know if this car in RS form will look as good as the current one. I mean the current one has very aggressive front, mainly the headlights, so the wide fenders suit it perfectly. This one on the other hand is way too soft compared to B7, is much sleeker and more elegant so i don't know how it's gonna be.
Tons of new tech sound promising and i really cannot wait to hear how this car drives, should be a blast.
Still, it looks more like a major facelift to me, so that's why i won't give it 10/10, but rather 8.5/10...

The new A4 looks nice, but I am just not excited about it at all. The exterior styling difference between the A4 and the A5 aren't as much as the difference between the E90 and E92 3 series. I can understand why Audi use the same interior for the A4 and the A5, since BMW is doing it, they can do it as well and get away with it.

after seeing the new set of pictures, i have apoligize to the a4; sorry for calling you boring, u look gorgeous with subtlety. the frontal shot shows it's actually very different from the a4.
what worries me tho, is the rear, it's very similar to the a5, and from the spyshots, the a3 will get the exactly same design, it's already pretty bad, i just hope audi doesn't duplicate this rear to a6 and a8, that would be such as BIG DISGRACE.

Wow haven't been here a few days and we have 30+ pages for new A4 thread! Have to say though, nothing exciting but i like it more than the A5, i just hate the curvy lines of the A5. Looking at the side profile, it is pretty much identical to the existing A4. No wonder BMW isn't too worried about giving the E90 a substantial exterior facelift (my opinion). C-class looks to be more of a threat, but of course Audi might've spent their time on driving dynamics this time and less on exterior.
And to me, those LEDs headlights I think is Audi's way to do Angel's eyes, but hey it doesn't work (right?) it looks toy-ish. Maybe in the future Audis you will see this curvy LED light thing in all their headlights, but at the moment i just think it is dumb..

I guess recent Audis are just not my cup of tea.. heh

okay.. i said it was boring..
and i changed my mind when i saw that S line..cause that was HOT.. (OMG the M package 3er is soooooo faaaaar behind the pack now..haha)...
but then someone posted those silver pics.. and it again fails to excite me..
so my verdict is.. a very nice looking car with the right colour and package..
i have doubts of it making a 6 year life cycle..looking like this..
so thats why im over confident on a huge FL half way through its life..
so if i was in the market for a new A4... i would wait 3 years..haha

B6 A4 was presented in Frankfurt back in 2000 , B7 A4 (facelift of B6) was presented again in Frankfurt in 2004. Now after 3 years (2007) we have the B8 A4 which is an all new car.
Now that i have seen many pics i must say that this is another stunning car from Audi. As a package it's far more attractive than either the E90 (which has the usuall for a BMW controversial design clues) and C class (which has an unimpresive interior).
B6 A4 was presented in Frankfurt back in 2000 , B7 A4 (facelift of B6) was presented again in Frankfurt in 2004. Now after 3 years (2007) we have the B8 A4 which is an all new car.

Yep, that's because the car is 20 cm longer. I like the new shape of the back door because of that. MUCH better!!

Have anybody else noticed there is no rear cut on side skirt, only the front cut is there.
It looks like one huge piece: side wing with wheel arch + side skirt + C-pillar.
Or is it so thin it's not noticeable at all?
