Dear or dear. You would never see a Ghost or Phantom slumming it with a MINI countryman or a BMW 5er in the same showroom.
Do they not have the specialist Maybach areas in the US as they have in Germany?
I'm sure BMW is looking over enviously at the number of TOP END S-class's MB is shifting, even if they are sitting next to an A-class on the showroom floor, while they themselves continue to faff around their plans for the upper end segments.
The configurator in Germany lists the Mercedes-Maybach S 500/550 4Matic now. MBUSA might offer it in the USA to battle those nasty snowstorms in the North East?

Well in a Mercedes-Benz dealer in Germany, Maybach has it is own sales area. It was unusual to see it placed with the GLA et all when it is an entirely different story elsewhere.
Thanks for the S-Klasse comment but BMW are actually pleased that their new 7er offers far more innovative technology and is considerably lighter than the S-Klasse. As for the upper segment Rolls-Royce is doing very nicely as the Rolls-Royce Dawn although not seen publically is part sold out. They don't have to worry about Maybach or the S-Klasse because no one is downgrading.
Seriously? What far greater tech does the 7-Series offer over the S-Class? Hell if anything the 7 is the one that is trying to catch up with all it's S-Class like features from the suspension to interior fragrances. We have yet to see how much lighter the 7 is at this point.

I wonder how it is selling here in the U.S. I haven't seen any yet in the rich areas of town.
