The new Maybach S arrives next week on 24 March, the V12 seems to have been dropped for the European market, but I imagine it will remain available for the rest of the world.
So will it feature the new V8 engine producing over 600 hp for the S680 version in Europe, or will there be no S680 version?

I don't think Europe cares much about this. It's an insignificant place for S Maybach.

Except in China, where most Maybachs are sold... they'll sell you a 3 litre I6 Maybach, for less than half the price of a V12.

I hope they bring in new wood and other trim panels that are not available in the standard S-class, the Maybach needs to be more bespoke and special. The seat materials also needs to be different and more bespoke with tailored stitching etc.
