SLS [Official] Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG (C197 / R197) is a front mid-engine, 2-seater, limited production sports car developed by the Mercedes-AMG division of Mercedes-Benz, with the assistance of David Coulthard. The car is the successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. SLS stands for "Super Leicht Sport" (Super Light Sport).
Wow, simply masterful, THIS is a nice Vert, and I HATE/have no desire or use for Convertibles.

Not sure about the black wheels though, and it looks like AMG is going full swing with them. They're becoming an OEM look more and more, so the aftermarket/modded effect of them will soon diminish, which will probably diminish the fad in due time.

I hope they also provide an elegant/classy and timeless Sport rim and rim color with this car as well, for those who don't want to look like they're part of that black-wheel custom fad.

Edit: Nm, just saw the pics with the alloy wheels. :D

I prefer the 'gullwing' hardtop but either way this car the SLS AMG reigns supreme in the looks department:bowdown:

That carbon Fiber center stack looks...:icondrool
:t-cheers:

WOW This car is just amazing i really didnt expect the roadster to be this stunning..Honestly i cant think off a better roadster on the road currently..

O.M.G. This is the most perfect convertible I've ever seen!! This is the first car that I'd have a really hard time choosing between a Coupé and roadster. Flawless without any design tweaks. Rims are hot but it's disappointing it's only a copypaste job from the C Amg. :/

Surprising that they are not using the newly upgraded color information display between the gauges like all the lesser 2012 MBs....

Takes a while for these changes to filter through the entire range I guess? I like that the C and E have got it already since they are the mass market models.

Oh it`s nice, but is it sexier than the SLR 722 roadster?
We need to see a comparo.

I feel sad for the next gen SL, due out soon. It will not even look half as good, and will be equally expensive in the AMG models 63 and 65....Poor, poor SL.

lOl man, I wouldn`t bother comparing the two. Thats like comparing the Ferrari Calfornia to the FF.
The FF is going to appeal to a different clientele altogether.

The SL is more of your everyday GT,
Mercedes version of the Corvette so to speak) Btw, The new SL is looking pretty darn sleek so far. Give it a chance. It will shine brightly when debut time comes.
