SL-Class (R231) [Official] Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG (R231)


Mercedes-Benz launched the sixth generation SL, internally the R231, at the North American International Auto Show in January 2012. The R231 introduced aluminum bodywork, its weight advantage offset by higher safety and convenience equipment.
Ugly, but kicked jag's ass without breaking a sweat. Credit where due.

Oh, no question about it! In the hardware department, the SL owns everything else in this segment - arguably, an even a better driver's car than the M6. But it still looks so damn ugly. Reminds me of the M135i which is the definitive car in it's segment, but with a face that only a mother could love. Same goes for the SL.
