S-Class (W223) [Official] Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223)

The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan. Body Styles: W223 (standard), V223 (long), Z223 (limousine, Mercedes-Maybach). Predecessor: S‑Class (W222). Successor: S-Class (W224) [expected]. Production: 2020- Model years: 2021-

Although i thought the non AMG version is cool enough, i must confess that i like the AMG version more and more. In hightec silver or in diamond white. Cause in dark colors you are not able too see all lines (specialy the catwalk line)
A comparison between the 222mopf with AMG package and the 223 with AMG package - both in silver
The 222 looks more aristocratic, the 223 more dynamic

Nice car - some flaws.
Biggest issue for me is the headlight polka dot design.
I would prefer my quick - and poor - photoshop in a nice execution.
What do you think?

Even the E-class lost its 2 stripes so no chance I think. Looks good though, I like it FWIW.

The more I’ve seen pictures and videos, the more I think the AMG exterior line was sort of an lazy attempt. The two horizontal bars at the front bumper look exactly the same as those in the W222 exterior line (and all the other AMG exterior lines throughout the whole MB portfolio). In darker colours the whole front bumper looks very much like the old one.
For me the standard exterior has got the looks for a great S class, the AMG exterior line not so.
There is only one reason I would be considering the AMG line: the steering wheel.

Damn that W222 is so beautiful ! I think all of the upcoming S classes will never look as beautiful as the W222.

I'm starting to worm up for the W223, it looks much better with time.

This picture is why I mentioned at the beginning of this thread that I'm glad Mercedes resisted the light bar in the rear.
Agree but now all we see are two led lights on the sides, on all cars on this photo, just on somewhat different heights. W222s rear lights were recognizable from far, this one is just one of the many, this is the only thing I don’t like about the car.
