That is absolutely not the facelift. That’s part of Mercedes NXT Icon “digital collectible” push. The car you’re seeing there is just the Maybach concept.
New facelift already![]()
It is actually the S Class. The outlines don’t even match with the concept![]()
Is the FL S-class used for new condom adverts? LolNew facelift already![]()

I was told by a Mercedes sales guy that S-Class facelift is due for 2024, seems that they have expedite it to match the flagship to place above competition on features & techs. May be they are also planning to fix all quality issue too.

^^ it’s not Maybach 6 concept in the graphics, highly relatable to S-Class Maybach only
A 7 year production cycle is normal, so an end of production in 2027 would match that normal cycle. I see no extending. W222 was 8 years in production, by the way. I wouldn’t be surprised if W223 stays in production for (much) more than 7 years. Like @Mr. Mercedes said, the car has the potential.Interesting. I am curious to see what does MB with the W224. The current W223 should remain in the market until 2027, so extending its production for 1-2 years and then having a fully electric S-Class would make sense IMO.
Precisely, that was exactly my point.A 7 year production cycle is normal, so an end of production in 2027 would match that normal cycle. I see no extending. The fundamentals of the vehicle definitely seem strong enough to endure a longer cycle.
A thousand good things can be said about this car, but definitely extending its existence with a design that despite being beautiful was extremely evolutionary and conservative is not one of them, it was born looking a bit dated, especially in this environment of radical designs from all the brands in the world, I don't think it will resist well, especially because in the FL, the profile never changes and that is the most conservative thing it hasI wouldn’t be surprised if W223 stays in production for (much) more than 7 years. From what I have stated, I do not have the same opinion, I believe that if they extend it for more years, it will inevitably decline at a higher rate than the usual at the end of its normal life cycle. It was born beautiful. A pristine blend of elegance, sportiness and gravitas. Tweaks would keep whats is fundamentally a perfectly proportioned sedan looking good for a long time.
The never changing profile is the best part of this classic design. It will never look old and keep it’s elegance for ages. That’s how you design a sedan in this class.A thousand good things can be said about this car, but definitely extending its existence with a design that despite being beautiful was extremely evolutionary and conservative is not one of them, it was born looking a bit dated, especially in this environment of radical designs from all the brands in the world, I don't think it will resist well, especially because in the FL, the profile never changes and that is the most conservative thing it has
