Yes, it would be the SWB, Jimmy. I don’t need the extra rear space and a length of 5,30 meter is getting a bit big for the Netherland.

It almost reminds you of the old "Smoke Silver" from the W124 days. It's really pretty, and should be hugely popular in the middle east.

I think my all time favorite color from Mercedes' past (along with Brilliant Silver) was Desert Taupe:

They need to bring this color back, hell just charge more for it.

In addition to the Mercedes-Benz S 580 4MATIC, the two variants of the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4MATIC and S 680 4MATIC can now also be found in the price list for the first time. Deliveries for the new models will start in July 2021.

Mercedes- Maybach S 680 4MATIC starts at 217,323.75 euros

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is now also available as the S 580 4MATIC (M 176) - each in the short and long version (W / V 223) - and in the Maybach variants (= long, Z 223) as the S 580 4MATIC (M 176) and S 680 4MATIC (12-cylinder M 279M) can be ordered. The prices (each including 19% VAT) at a glance:

Why is anything an option on this car? I mean S680, fully loaded Maybach... What options??

True, but on such car, an E-ABC is optional? To pay more than 7k € for that? Isn't this car all about comfort and luxury and should be offered as that from the very beginning? Options for a special wood trim or leather i understand, but regarding drivetrain, chassis features and everything else, that must be included from the beginning. Imo of course...

It really doesn't matter what the option is, they're doing the same thing Rolls and Bentley do when they charge you for a better sound system, that's on a $250-300K car. The options are where the fat profits are.
