S-Class (W222/C217/A217) [Official] Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222)

The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the Mercedes Benz S-Class. Body styles: W222 (standard), V222 (long), X222 (limousine, Mercedes-Maybach), VV222 (pullman), C127 (coupé), A217 (convertible). Predecessor: S-Class (W221). Successor: S-Class (W223). Production: 2013–2020.
That is a crazy amount of km in such a short period of time. Your car still looks great, how do you keep it clean? How is the interior holding up? I am assuming that the car is parked out door during most of the time?
Thanks! I wash my car every 2-3 weeks by hand. The interior looks still brandnew. The driverseat shows some light evidence of usage, but doesn't look like > 125.000 kilometers. The pedals look like mint condition. If you like, I could post a few interior pictures. Brake disks and -pads still the first. At the front I've encountered some mortar damage (stone chippings caused some minor damages). At the office it's parked outside.

Sure that will be great. I am a bit concerned with the UV light causing the wood trim to fade in color.

Fantastic car Mick and it would be great to see your interior.

On a related note; a friend who has had numerous S-Classes since the 80's was one of the first W222 S550 owners in NYC (first production S550 I saw) when he took delivery Fall 2013. After 70,000 mi (113000 km), he says it's by far the best car he's owned. He will be replacing it with a S Hybrid.

Unlike the W220 & W221, which had some issues with the leather becoming loose over time (especially the armrests) and the steering wheel peeling, there are little signs of wear in high km W222s.

I love black interior for black body color. Interior look fabulous. Isnt it SWB?

^I hope for Mick Rolf means the car. :)
I am not a doctor so don't intend on looking at Micks interior but definitely his car's interior!:D

Mick your cars interior still looks new, amazing after 125,000km. The S-class interior components seem extremely well made for longevity and I am also amazed that their is no scratches or markings on any plastic, wood or leather items.

Thanks for the photos Mick, the interior is beautiful and it still looks brand new! The exclusive package is a great choice too, the diamond pattern stitching on the dashboard, seats and the extra wood trim below the arm rests are a must to lift the interior to the best it should be.

Very nice condition for 125k km, did you have any reliability problems (I think you already wrote about something once but can't remember exactly)?

I've had some squeek issues and a electrical cable (motor compartment) problem in the beginnings. All taken care of and never had any problems since then. For some reason, I've got a feeling I could drive up to 1.000.000 km without any further problems.
