Aaah, that's in Rotterdam Holland!! Close to where I live, really! Damn!!!

They should have used an A class to hide it though :D
Not a VW ;)

I really don't see the point of hiding this car anymore, everyone knew the S65 is coming.

I don't either, but at least use an MB to hide it if you do ;)

Edit; and I only just now read W201's post regarding the Scirocco

The S65 AMG W222 is so gorgeous and imposing that even Klier and Human didn't notice the 3ser E21 at 0:48 of the video.

Haters ganna hate but I love the way that car looks. Especially that front end. Mercedes has done a great job with the W222 S Class!

I usually hate chrome but I love the S65... especially the front!
It's surely a dream car but by getting one I'll have to forget all my other dreams :D
It'll be Cabrera money... which is reasonable as it's the best luxury car in the world!
It doesn't get any better than that! :pompous:

You can certainly understand the crews persistence to get rid of the camera man because a shoot is time and money and works to an exact schedule. As it all comes together you get a finished item of driving from multi-angles but to achieve this filming is drawn out you drive a few yards turn and go back everything comes together in the editing room.

The cameraman is lucky if it was BMW they would be throwing things and probably charging at them.

they shouldnt do it in public than, or pay enough to close entire block....

Today I saw the W222 S500 for the first time on the road. It was black and at first it didn't make any impression to me... I was staring at it... getting that GCF vibe inside me. Felt like I'm in this thread. Slightly after I realized that it happens irl :D
I was looking at its rear which I find far from striking irl. From behind the car doesn't make much of an impression and is kind of incognito... tho when you realize what you are looking at details start popping up. It's the car your boss should be driving, not a Russian mob(unless he's your boss). I quite like that.

I love the grill, BUT the silver nets with chrome around:
- too less 'MercedesClassy'-like
- toooooooo much 'Tuning-after market'-like

I realy think that this is not for an business-limo, but for an old Honda Civic for the tuning show - sorry, it realy dont fit and looks ridiculous .
Where is the oldschool Mercedes 'understatement' gone?
If im thinking about W140 when the V12 came: just the inscription ''600'' on the rear doors and a litle ''V12'' logo at the C-pillar made the BIG difference. That was Mercedes-Benz at its finest! Elegant, reserved, not striking, but when you stepped on the accelerator pedal, you could beat a Porsche 911. That was understatement par excellence! And also the AMG package on the W140 and W220 - sporty but still elegant, not striking at all.
God i miss those models! The W222 is sure the most beautiful car at this time, but this ultra-sport options make it just...i dont know...not a real Merc anymore. It makes him something that he does not want to be.

Hopefully M are looking and thinking about this and suggesting an M7.
Hopefully not.

I really like how M choose to say aside, and not care about turning the big limousine into some performance monster. 7 feels a bit special because of that.

But, as we all know, accountants and marketers are the ones who will make that decision.

Not this generation , but the new lightweight chassis could potentially open the door for the first production M7.

Walk around video of a pretty loaded S350 Bluetec in Poland...
Love the closing sound of the trunk @ 0:55, solid...
