The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the Mercedes Benz S-Class. Body styles: W222 (standard), V222 (long), X222 (limousine, Mercedes-Maybach), VV222 (pullman), C127 (coupé), A217 (convertible). Predecessor: S-Class (W221). Successor: S-Class (W223). Production: 2013–2020.

The headlamps are specifically nice.
Coherent part of the front and the grille, and also the side. The side line - which I like from the FEP period - begins from the line of the headlamp.
The whole gives a feel like a statue.
 
This S-Class vividly points out why the Maybach should have never been created. The W221 was superior and this car is 20 years beyond the Maybach. I can't even imagine if the Maybachs were still on sale now. Now Mercedes has the foundation to create a true, up to date/current replacement with the 600 or whatever they call it. If it has a different body and even more bespoke interior I'm going to be speechless. I can't see how they're going to top a loaded S550 though! WOW.

Amazing..when he said that the interior has a sense of visual silence, i actually for the first time understood and agreed with what he said.. normally its just BS spun by car brands about their designs which makes no sense.
