I'd like to see a video showing passenger seat rear how to spread out and regulates the front pushes to the front of the.
Must do!

Now, with the new S-Class arrived, I wish that Mercedes Marketing Department will have an answer to this:

-Mr. Zetsche, please hire LaArtist for this!

The only problem I have with this add is that they keep cutting away from the S-Class and to that oversized A4.

i know that some of yoou will kill me now but.... the more i see of this nice s-class the more i get bored.
i mean we have seen the designo amg flagship versions with all of the options and nice gadgets, but then
i m afraid that the average version will look boring.
i m getting more and more used to it and it loses a bit of its saint-flair.
at first i thought ok, this makes my 7s and my 2x w221s look old but the more i see the new one the more i think:
hey its nice but is it really that much nicer?

dont get me wrong i ll definitely get a w222 but i think im pretty afraid that i cant afford all the nice options i need and that makes this car a real burner. i have only a budget of about 90.000 bugs and i think you cant buy a w222 without the cool magic body suspension, the burmester, the massage seats, the chauffeur option, the nice leather....

^Look people this is how you motivate yourself OUT from buying an S class..
Even though in your heart you know you want one:D

I feel sort of the same in terms of the newness of the design; like this model has been out for a year now and that it is not a revolution. But thinking as a real buyer, nothing beats it as the full-size vehicle I want to have. The 7 and the A8 did not stand a chance to 221, let alone 222, in my preference list. 222 has widened that gap.

If BMW adopts the face and to a lesser extent the rear of the Gran Lusso they will have won in just those two categories. I repeat, in just those two categories.

The Benz interior and the luxury technology is going to be hard to beat.

The exterior design of the Benz is nothing to write home about. They're riffing on the same old design traits that Mercedes usually employs.

I doubt the main stylistic elements of the Gran Lusso can be successfully interpreted on the next 7-series. The dimensions of the 7-series just does not allow the front to be as low as that on the Gran Lusso. As for the back-end......possibly, but again there will be some compromises and I'm afraid the finished product will be less appealing.

FYI

Two rare photos of ABC (Active Body Control) Suspension Strut Units. Obviously damaged, but the steel coil spring and basic Hydraulic inner-workings visible.

^ I'm so confused.... just like the black S500 in Dubai, why are these car's emblems covered? Are they dealer demos, manufacturer demos or purchased?

They haven't been introduced at the dealerships yet and they will keep the tape there until that has happened.

Silkeye, we need to invest at least a € 110.000 to get a decent W222. I just pushed myself away from the promise I made I wouldn't invest more than € 100.000 on a car. Because I want it :D

did you just see how the speaker winds itself away ? Very cool.
Very nice indeed! I'm not sure which soundsystem to order. What do you think, Luke, would High End be worth the extra money over "normal" surround Burmester? Difference in price over € 6.000.

It's worth it, if you like the gadgets.... I'm sure the standard Burmester is already very good. This is the problem with too many options ! They should have just offered the HIGH end one and the non burmester. Then there would be no choice, you'd just take the Burmester.
