S-Class (W222) [Official] Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222)

The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the Mercedes Benz S-Class produced from 2013 to 2020, serving as the successor to the W221 S-Class and predecessor to the W223 S-Class. The W222 has a similar design theme to the C-Class (W205) and E-Class (W213).

It's been such a long wait, but Mercedes-Benz has not disappointed. The car is aboslutely perfect. I will miss the W221, but I have total respect for the new Boss Benz.

It's a classic well-defined lines, nothing radical but enough very good novel and attractive really.
A Mercedes as a whole should be
On the other hand the Dashboard and the interior is more luxurious than the previous one looks like a mixture inside the Bentley and Rolls, but also the dashboard itself is a bit grotesque two screens of 10 inches minimum continuous together. .... not subtle or delicate is grotesque.

Wow. Just wow. Upon first glance I'm reminded of the w126, w140 and the ocean drive concept. What a masterpiece! It's cohesive, it's elegant, it's timeless. I have renewed hope for Mercedes Benz design.

Wow. It truly is a splendid machine isn't it? So regal, so sumptuously appointed, so elegant-yet-confident - the very epitome of decorum. This is the S-Class, this the standard bearer for luxury cars; the benchmark against which its peers are measured. I'm inspired by this car because it's properly classy without being flash or posh or over the top. A wealthy person's ultimate style statement.

It's excellent. I had my doubts at first, but I love it from these photos.

The only thing that's kind of weird for me is the two spoke steering wheel. I don't think anyone has a car with a two-spoke steering wheel, but I have and it's neither a luxury sedan, nor german :D

C4 or Picanto, maybe?

My first impressions:

big like
- the design of the rear (perfection)
- the steering wheel
- the side profile of the rear
- the AMG package

big dislike
- the headlights (sorry, but they just dont fit the car)
- the non-AMG package makes it look like a big E class with different headlights
- the square screen where the gauges are. It looks ridiculous IMHO

Other than that, I like it. But I'm not overwhelmed with the exterior design, especially the front. The rear is perfection. But of course, the car will be the milestone when it comes to technology, and I have big respect for that.

And remember, I have always been a MB fan as well. But I just miss that "something" with this new S. It will hopefully grow on me.

I can't wait to see the steering wheel for the S63 AMG, and if the working versions of the S-Class are this luxurious, what is the S600 going to be like? I can't believe Mercedes was actually made a 2-spoke steering wheel look so good.

Kudos to mercedes on this excellent new design! Truly a game-changer.

Staying away from the new Mercedes corporate grille ruining the SL, and others, was definitely the right move. They weren't going to let one bad element ruin their Golden Goose.

Well played, Gentlemen.....

The front is such a disappointment. They could have made at least a little more aggressive and and unique for the s-class. Cause when u look at the front- it looks just like a regular mercedes. Epecially, the headlights:they are too big, too boring.. The rest is ok. I hope the brand new Cl will have a better face than this...
