Excuse me, but this does not fit the lever S class, it's a bit too little.

A bit unrelated but everytime I look at your avatar I think it's a naked dead hooker laying on the bonnet :D where did that pic come from ?

No problem ;)

Hm...its quite bigger - especialy in the 'Parkhaus' garage during corners..you dont see where the engine bonet is ending :S -- Otherwise, yes, its familiar - exept the tempomat is now under the indicator-stick and i'm missing the 'tachometer' in the middle (now the counters are too 'BMW'ish for me..). Otherwise , it is even more sound insulated, more responsive engine and, of course, more technology (as well as the W220 in 1998 was for others)

We have been doing eco/normal fuel consumption tests and the numbers are equal ?¿?¿, 15 l/100 doing mostly short trips and city. Dealer says about making a CO2 emissions test at 10.000 Km to check if everything is ok....

I knew this car was just too fast.... no way it can make "promo" numbers....:D

^something must be wrong with me when i pay more attention to the car than to the girl.

Sonder - What did you think of the Obsidian Black? I have one on order and was contemplating between obsidian black and regular black.

Thank You

I went to the dealer yesterday.
MBC cannot be ordered in Hong Kong, what a shame.
S500 (s550) HK$1,899,000 (~USD250K)
Production dates: Dec 2013.

Comfort is inline with w221 for the front seats. Massage function seems to work much better than w221, feels much closer to a proper massage chair now.

rear seats are super. conform to the body well, recline nicely and sure it is built on a concept some generations ahead. seems to be softer than w221 and feels like a oh-so-comfy sofa.

I live in HK as well. I find it eye watering that these things cost far less in foreign countries. Our entry level S400 Hybrid is equivalent to US$213,000. The worst thing is, here we don't even get to have the S350 or S300 due to the fact its Diesel. Life is unfair!

Price list in HK$. 1$USD = $7.8HKD

talking discounts if anyone wants to come here and buy one my dealer can do to you from 5% (car at your name) to 13% (car for company with other 2 premium vehicles already)....just saying.....:D

and i find it ridiculous an s500 with some options ticked would easily break the HKD$2M mark. gosh.
