I notice you are in Newport Beach. Did you get the winter weather package because of the Nappa leather? If I recall, you need 223 to get the Nappa leather.

My dealer (Euro delivery) said I should ignore the $333,333 too I picked the blue exterior too.



I wonder if anyone that has already received their car can check if they are able to switch the speedo from Kilometers to MPH? I ask as since it is electronic, I presume it would be reasonable to switch between the two. I am doing a Euro Delivery and it would be nice to stay at KPH in Europe but switch back to US when the car arrives in the States.

I notice not too many people are adding the upgraded sound system. I listen to public news radio (NPR in the US) most of the time so seemed like a bit of a waste to add that.

I would be curious if anyone has one and can comment on if there is a difference (presuming you have a dealer one to compare).

I think it's an absolute waste of money to add the sound system (nearly 7K). Why?......who driving an S class wants to blast the music like street thugs?.....I'm a black guy, and I don't see the point of that in an S class.

I know the profit game is in the packages, but there are just some things that won't work in the package game...

I've heard both of the Burmester systems. The "normal" Burmester surround system is really good in quality. Better than the former Harman/Kardon system imo. The expensive 3D is impressive, but only with high quality music DVD. Normal radio, you hardly notice a difference. Maybe with DAB (digital radio), but that I haven't heard yet. I'll order the normal Burmester surround system. Mind you, it's how it sounds to my ears.

You're not going without DAB are you ? It's a must in Europe ! I think I would just take the standard Burmester.

I added warmth/comfort to basically get the rear zone climate control, which is a feature that I really wanted...
Euro delivery is something that I've always wanted to try... Nice Tom...

I have heard from Porsche Panamera owners that the high end Burmester is not worth the extra cost from the normal system as well...
Maybe if it was a few grand more, but $6,400.00??? C'Mon man...
