That suspension is a whopping 8K option in the U.S. It better be one hell of a ride.
Just wait for the GLE53 and GLE63 and the GLS models topped off by the Maybach. Question, does anyone think the GLS 650 Maybach will have a V12?

As expected.Mercedes better tune the standard suspensions (assuming they do one steel, one air suspension in addition to the e-ABC) well. The vast majority of units will no doubt be delivered without that option.
It’s incredibly disappointing that the top suspension cost a fortune. I am waiting to hear more but suspect it’s enchances off road capabilities rather than comfort. Thus the majority of customers won’t need it let alone notice a difference on the flat and smooth roads in some states.
Perhaps. The GLE has never had active suspension before though so at the very least we’ll be getting some of the comfort and breadth of ability that ABC/MBC has provided the S-class in the past. The system benefits from quicker reactions as well.
