The Tablet still looks like a afterthought

Should have been integrated with the Dashboard think S-class.
I sat in the new A class...all the same thought and it feels + looks awkward as if someone left a new generation wide screen carry around Tablet on the dash

Hey mate I have to disagree with you regarding it looking or feeling awkward.

I sat in the A and drove it and inactully feelmita better then in my E where it's covered infeelmits cleaner and you don't need the hood over it..in same way i think it will be great in the GLE.

The only concern would be an shinning On The screen which I doubt will be a issue..

I think it looks very clean and fits very well in the A class.

A class doest not have anything behind the tablets...but GLE does have, not a hood but still the sun will not strike the tablets directly ...i hope the A class tablets will sustain the heat from the sun in very hot countries

Some nice pics of the new GLE 300d. It looks fantastic in this colour and interior trim. Also shown is the 3rd row, 7 seat option.

The rear seat space on the new GLE looks massive, with huge legroom.

Check the engine bay, it has a Carbon Fibre front reinforce plate.

Maybe its just me, but somehow all the materials inside are cheaper looking than in other Mercedes models

Right? Mercedes and BMW seem to have gone in opposite directions here based on the first drives of the X5. BMW seems to have sacrificed 2nd row leg room for room in the 3rd row whereas MB prioritized 2nd row legroom.

We are going to see some very creative interior combinations. So far this pin stripe combo is my favorite. I like the "substancial" look of the interior design. It makes is look like the buyer is getting a lot of Mercedes for their Money. You could almost mistake the below for an S-Class SUV interior.

I can't wait for the Maybach trim or for Designo to do their magic.

That is the problem, it looks like you are getting a lot of money until you spend a day or two inside and you will find out all the areas where they have cut cost.

Looks to me like second row is all the way back. It can be adjusted forward, creating more room in third.

Will be nice to see min/max 3rd row legroom stats. I’m guessing it’s a shade better than the q7 in that regard

Shame. A bit like BMW then. 330i is powered by a 2 litre like the 328i and 320i.

This particular GLE has electrical adjustable 2nd row seats fitted and they probably very far back so it looks like the 3rd row is tight.
