IBTH.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Some quirks however...The parts sharing such as the top of the dash being driver focused with the bottom not; center console looks that of the C class.

This looks absolutely fantastic and I'm happy for Benz. The mustache on the lower sport grille is funny though:

Wow what a surprise. I never expected the EQC to look this good. I really like what Mercedes have done here, the exterior styling has familiar 3 pointed star touches but also some new bold elements in the front lights and grill and back lights. The profile looks great also, it's quite sleek with heavy raked rear window.

I like the interior very much cause it also introduces some new unique components and materials such as the brass strips in the rectangular air vents and simplified center console with very little buttons while at the same time sharing some parts with other Mercedes models

Not sure about the overall shape, too round maybe, have to see it in real to make final judgement.

Would like to see the AMG-Line with black exterior

MB is doing this right! Rear end has some Cayenne similarities but that isn't a bad thing at all. Range is somewhat on the lower side, however I suspect innovation and competition will only improve that aspect over time. Tesla Model X better watch out!

The overall design is a no-go, totally bland and uninspiring, too soft for its purpose. The front grille is absolutely dreadful - the grille from the concept would have been miles better.

And the interior - oh no, the same, on-and-on, unending slab of screens with absolutely no design taste whatsoever.

Looking at the Audi e-tron, it will certainly be unparalleled by this horrifying wet dream of Wagener.

I agree. I like the rear and side-profile but the front looks unfinished. I think this round will go to Audi unfortunately.

As long as the price is not bonkers, this will replace my Passat GTE hybrid. With the incentives in Norway, electric is the only viable solution for people living in the big cities.

Glad to see more action in this segment, but grafting a generic Chinese brand face onto a generic Mercedes style body isn't going to get my pulse racing... Could have been a Denza thanks to all the m'eh beigeness... Current GLC and GLE look better IMHO.

Front is a no-no, as expected. Unfinished, bland, soft, generic ... interior ok, but again just another variation of existing ones. What is shocking me most, however, and it's kind of a surprise to me (as I heard rumours suggesting a much better outcome): >2400kg?????!!! Are you kidding me? Or did I mishear that? A vehicle in SUV guise (high, wide, big wheels) and such a weight cannot be a game changer in terms of energy consumption, no matter if it's electric or what. Disappointing.
