Yeah the m156 was a BIG 6.2. Just going towards the fact that there both 4 litres, seems small for an E class (the previous was 5.5 if I'm correct).
Obviously it will be extremely powerful, no doubt about, but just seems like a small displacement for an AMG midsize sedan.
*long sigh*Here's my question to you: Does displacement of the engine really matter if the car is likely going to outperform the W212 chassis on the track in every single metric? Not to mention, the W213 is rumored to be putting out close to 600 HP.
I still don't understand your stance. You consider a 4l small for a mid-size sedan but the engine is alright for a full-on sports car like the GT S?
Thats exactly what i think, 4L displacement is small for a Mercedes AMG midsize
I'll make it a point to stay away from you when they put the 4l in the S63.
If you're mad now, I can't imagine how you'll feel then.![]()

and what exactly has engine displacementn got to do with the performance of a car? We are not living in the
I'm aware what year we are in
I know downsizing isn't detrimental to performance - I Just expect an E63 to have a bigger engine
That is all
We all maybe in disagreement and not happy with the moves in the car industry for downsizing, but its the way forward at the moment and who knows maybe in the future the top AMG model will be a 2.5ltr twin electric turbo 4 cylinder. I am one who likes the idea of a NA big capacity engine, especially a massive V8 but nowadays and in future those engines will be extinct like dinosaursThats exactly what i think, 4L displacement is small for a Mercedes AMG midsize
$53100 is current EThat sounds like a lot for a 4 cylinder.
That's where the current W212 E350 starts.
$52150 base Msrp for E300 in USA
AMG SLC 43DO you have the full pricing for all the 2017 models? I see a lot of the AMG pricing has been released.
