E-Class (W213/C238/A238) [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213

The Mercedes-Benz W213 is the fifth generation of the E-Class range. Body styles: sedan/saloon (W213), wagon/estate (S213), long wheelbase (V213), coupé (C238), cabriolet (A238). Production: 2016–2023. Predecessor: W212 E-Class. Successor: W214 E-Class, C236/A236 CLE.
The new E63 looks amazing to be honest. It reminds me a lot to the W211 E63, a nice mix of elegante and aggressiveness. Notice how the rims are very similar to the ones that debuted with the S-Coupe Concept in 2013.

Strangely we now live in a world where engine "size" is less about displacement and more about BMEP.

I'm aware what year we are in

I know downsizing isn't detrimental to performance - I Just expect an E63 to have a bigger engine

That is all

I do to but mark my words MB BMW and other car manufacturers will continue to downsize the engine capacity for the simple reason of increasing fuel efficiency and reducing emission while still increasing performance.

Thats exactly what i think, 4L displacement is small for a Mercedes AMG midsize
We all maybe in disagreement and not happy with the moves in the car industry for downsizing, but its the way forward at the moment and who knows maybe in the future the top AMG model will be a 2.5ltr twin electric turbo 4 cylinder. I am one who likes the idea of a NA big capacity engine, especially a massive V8 but nowadays and in future those engines will be extinct like dinosaurs:(

DO you have the full pricing for all the 2017 models? I see a lot of the AMG pricing has been released.

A new report from Germany indicates Mercedes will take the wraps off the new E-Class Estate on June 6.

According to Mercedes-Benz Passion Blog, Daimler will host the world premiere of the new E-Class Estate(S213) on June 6 at a special event organized in Stuttgart, Germany. Following its public reveal, the premium midsize wagon will hit Mercedes’ dealerships in September.

Numerous spy photos and videos have shown the 2017 E Class Estate will be heavily influenced in terms of design by the smaller C Class Estate. Compared to the outgoing model, the new E wagon will lose its somewhat boxy shape in favor of a rounder design that will have an impact on the cargo capacity. According to Mercedes design boss, Gorden Wagener, it will have a “little less” space than the model is about to replace which offers 24.5 cubic feet (695 liters) with the rear seats up and 68.8 feet (1,950 liters) once you fold them down.

While the trunk will be a tad smaller than it is now, there’s going to be more legroom for rear passengers since the new E Class Estate will have a 2.6 inches (66 mm) longer wheelbase, at 115.7 inches (2.93 meters).

There are some rumors the E-Class Estate will spawn an All Terrain derivative in the same vein as the Audi A6 allroad, but the report is yet to be confirmed by Mercedes. If the model will indeed come to life, expect the rugged estate to adopt plastic body cladding, raised suspension, standard all-wheel-drive 4MATIC setup, and most likely different wheels along with modified bumpers. It’s obviously going to cost more than the equivalent E-Class Estate and is expected to also have some tweaks inside the cabin to better differentiate the two models.

Those waiting for the E63 Estate should know that it will be out probably at the beginning of 2017 with a new evolution of the biturbo 4.0-liter V8. German Car Forum reported a while ago the unit will develop 571 horsepower (426 kilowatts) and 553 pound-feet (749 newton meters) of torque in the standard E63 and 612 hp (456 kW) and 626 lb-ft (848 Nm) in the E63 S. That should prove to be enough for an extremely fast hauler.

Is it now being fitted to production vehicle Wolf? I wonder how it compares to the control knob/touch pad combo.

It's not yet in production, Mr. Mercedes, but various MB Passion rumors indicate an optional new Touchpad may be in the pipeline. Was also shown in this ParkPilot video the other day. :)

The E class will be officially launched in China on the 16th of June. This is the market where there is explosive demand for the e class and by far the most important market .

AMuS claims in it's latest issue that the W213 facelift will hit the showrooms in 2019. That would be an incredibly short lifecycle.

On my way to work this morning, I was behind a debagged, from what I though, C saloon. I was behind this car for around 30 mins, and only when overtaking I spotted the dual screen interior, and realised it was an E!
