Nice..... Not too sure about the black slats in the AMG front bumper.

Bring on the 18th!

A good looking car - no question - albeit a considerably over-familiar one now.

Yes a bit too familiar in fact.

MB Australia better bring the classic grill. Also how I wish they offered the classic grill with the AMG pack as well.

Ewww. The big scoops, big rounded grille and big rounded headlights makes the car look goofy and less like an elegant limousine. Cover the rear half of the car with your hand and it could be mistaken for an A-Class. This is the modern equivalent of the pre-facelifted W210. However the other trims are predictable but elegant.

A very protracted roll-out and 'me too' styling has left me with very little to get excited over. Surely it will sell well and it looks a great deal nicer than the outgoing car. Well done MB but even the W201 and W124 had more obvious differences.

i really like the AMG version wheels, they look pretty big im sure they are 19s rather than 18s

What is the obsession with copy and paste designs. I like the interior much better, the ones with 1 tone seats. Hate the brown leather thingies around and behind the seats.

Nice, but already seen.

I'm agreed with you. It's simply that we were waiting. It's nice but I continue thinking Mercedes is wrong with three cars with one design that only changes some details. Interior is incredible.

As someone who owns a W205, it looks more like a smaller S to me, than a larger version of my car.

Owning one doesn't make your opinion any better than his.
They all look virtually the same to me. Their actual size is what sets them apart mostly.

I personally think it is a far more coherent design than the outgoing face/lift E, who's front end and headlights were rather messy imo. This new one looks sportier and a bit bolder.

I agree except the bold part, the W212 is obviously way bolder. The W213 is in perfect line with the new corporate face on MB sedans....a bit boring really.

But looking at your photos and seeing the differences, one of the biggest to me is the base of the A pillar, which is a mess on the W212 and ultra smooth on the W213.

Not quite sure how to react. Love the elegance look: chrome and the classic grill.
AMG and avantgarde is not the way to go with this E in my opinion.

Front is too soft for me. Headlights look too small, and agree the taillights are previous generation C and CL.

I feel completely underwhelmed by this. The headlights look horrible. I hope this car looks better in real life than it photographs. Maybe in silver with the AMG wheels like shown on the flatbed a few weeks back.

The front bumper looks so odd, but I guess it will do. Everything else looks good. It looks like a adult version of the c class.

Since the W140 MB has had hit and miss with the E-Class. W210 and W212 are the big NOs here.

If only MB had gone for more distinctive front ends for each model...

Yes a bit too familiar in fact.

MB Australia better bring the classic grill. Also how I wish they offered the classic grill with the AMG pack as well.

Im going to go with "ask the right question at the right time" the reason they killed off the classic grille on the W212 was the low take up....according to MB.
