fuenfkommasechs offers apologies for not providing subtitles. It would take about one week for each hour of film, in this one man operation. He prefers to work on new films instead. :)

It would be great if they could then speak English or at least do five-minute recap videos in English. I know they can speak the language and other services (inferior to them) do that.

Yes. At times they do talk in English. For example the teaser. Perhaps Betty was the controller. :)

I didn't know you could customize the speedometer, at least not with the S-Class if I'm not mistaken , that's kind of cool

It is a good thing you can change the speedo graphics at your convenience. The twin screens look much more advanced on the W213 than on the W222. That, together with the new controller for the COMMAND are the most likely changes for the W222 FL.

I am hoping for one big screen in the W222 FL. It's the next logical step, and didn't they have a concept previewing a single big screen?

But it will be rectangular.. damn!

Of a STEALTH aircraft? How would I see it?!

Ha! That's actually a good question: "How do air traffic controllers control stealth aircraft if they're invisible?"

Answer: We use transponders and secondary radar, which the pilots turn on when in "friendly" airspace and turn off when they're over hostile territory.

Anyway, back on topic!

Yeah, something tasteful and matching the design and shape of an old school shaped dash (the one without giant hump) is maybe a bit too much for MB:

Stealth aircrafts are nonsense. The people who make them always seem to assume ground radar tech doesn't improve. Stealth planes work in 3rd world countries, though, where they lack any form of tech. But you wouldn't need stealth planes there.

So my point is, why are they wasting all these billions on these things? Asking this because you're the airplane expert and I genuinely wonder about this curiosity.

I don't want to post off-topic like this but, keeping it brief, I don't know much about military aircraft or more specifically stealth aircraft. What I will say is the first stealth aircraft, the F-117 Nighthawk, first flew in 1981 and was only officially acknowledged in 1988 (and has been retired since 2008), so there is probably other top secret aircraft flying around that we know nothing about, and may have technology far superior than we can imagine, and far superior to stealth. As to why they still continue with stealth then I would say that for as long as there is a need for aircraft to fly over hostile territory, then having stealth technology is better than NOT having it.

What I will also say is that the future will increasingly move towards unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Sorry for posting off-topic.

Yes its to much for MB..

I was much more intrigued by your next statment of ignorance:)

No klier i assure you that the people that make stealth technology do NOT assume that ground radar systems dosen't approve.. in fact often they are the same people that make both..:)

The stealth technology is not 1 thing.. its several measures to assure non detection or reduced detection, why do they do this? Mainly cause they want their expensive ass aircraft/ship/missle to reach it target and get back home ( not the missle ofc haha).. And also that they want to assure the pilots/soldiers safety.

Now for eg in 3rd world countries they have heat seeking missiles, one part of stealth is the heat signature the aircraft leaves, making it harder to hit..

Anyway this is a very complex matter, you are free to PM me, ile gladly answer your questions.

Also sorry for the OT

What I will say is that it's a shame they couldn't have applied stealth technology to the 2 Series Gran Tourer so nobody has to see it.
