MB returning to the glory times of Sacco. Finally. Modernized of course ... but bringing back the so typical MB spirit which has been lost in latest decade and more.

Same case with BMW ... again more emphasis on sports, elegance & sleekness. "Bangelized 80s".

Still waiting for Audi to reinterpret the avant-garde times of Schreyer.

Putting the tings in right places again ...

Wow!!! This has got to be the biggest media pack in history, I had no idea there was this much to come after the crappy leaked photographs. Damn this is huge. Two thumbs up for the_Artist and his hard work of uploading all these images. Xzibit would have rewarded you very well.:t-cheers:

Lol man..
I thought what the heck..a new E comes every 7 years..i might aswell provide our ppl with the best E class thread on the net, so that they dont have to go any other place..

Last pic is just pure PORN!!! :icondrool:icondrool:icondrool

The red one just kills it. For the first time a Benz looks best without AMG kit. I like those 18 inch rims a lot.:usa7uh:

BTW...didn't I say that this car looked pretty much ready. But I guess, the BMW lot (Scott) said that it won't be shown soon. See, there is a reason why MB didn't want it to be seen where BMW marketin guys were present. It's all about startegy fellas.

Umm. I have just been to the Mercedes-Benz stand at Detroit and the new E-Klasse is not here , It was unveiled last night to coincide with the Press release , but the car is not on show at the Mercedes-Benz stand.
A spokesman said the car is not getting it's debut until Geneva in March.
The W211 is here is diesel blutec specification but no W212.

Tonight BMW have their own closed event where the Progressive Activity Sedan Concept takes centre stage.

Hahaha typical GCF behaviour, someone always have to pull out some blant pictures of a japanese car that share traits with a newly launch car from the enemy brand. I'll let that one slide.

I expect a leaked spy pic ... although of a very crappy quality. :D

The rear/side looks perfect in this pic. I thought it might look too big or long but it looks just fine here

I thoght the rear arch is taken from Bentley CGT but after seeing this WOW the past meets contemporary:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::D

I think MB has done a terrific job with the W212, inside and out. And as a huge BMW fan, I think healthy competition is good for both companies and their customers.

It's funny how we see different strengths and weaknesses in these new designs, I think the side profile is the weakest part of the W212 and others think it's the strongest. Early interior shots from test mules looked strange, but the finished product is excellent.

Again, well done MB. Lets see how BMW responds with the F10.:eusa_clap

Guys you need to kick back and watch this E class feature on MB.tv

Mercedes-Benz TV

That looks awesome on my 32 inch computer screen. The brown/red colour is astounding, this should teach BMW a thing or two about choosing presentation colour. :usa7uh:

If the E-class is this hot the CLS will blow the water out of the ocean when it's unveiled in 12 months.

^ohh yes..belive that

I think its on the cushion of CLS that they have decided to go back to making this so classic MB..
Beacuse they know..with the CLS they can go nutts again:)
