E-Class (W212/C207/A207) [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W212)

The Mercedes-Benz W212 is the fourth generation of the E-Class range. Body styles: sedan/saloon (W212), estate/wagon (S212). Coupé and convertible models of the W212 E-Class generation are W204 C-Class based and known as the C207 and A207, replacing the CLK-Class (C209 and A209) coupé and cabriolet. Production: 2009–2016. Predecessor: W211 E-Class. Successor: W213 E-Class.
The tossers from Autocar are so unbelievably lazy that they posted a picture of the saloon version instead of the estate.

A proper hybrid. If you are going hybrid, the 4 banger diesel is the perfect mate.
What does 62.8 translate into for US mpg?

Wow! If that is accurate, then kudos. I've always said if you can't hit that 50mpg mark with a hybrid, then why bother.

The 2013 diesels have been released! They should start shipping to dealerships in the next few days and arrival time will depend on trucking. Luckily my dealership is near the factory so we should see them soon!

Luck!
Distronic+ would have stopped the car. This should be a nice test for the new 6D cameras.

Distronic + would not stop the car because the cruise would not have been on.
Pre-safe brake would not have stopped the car at that speed. Would only reduce the speed. It will not stop a car completely because it only notifies at 2.6 seconds prior to impact. And only applies full brake pressure at 0.6 seconds.
If you'd like to see at differing speeds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3fxQxPVd4s

MBUSA finally added E400. 24 city 30 highway, 26 combined. They didn't even get 27 mpg combined as promised.

It looks pretty amazing in that video. Every image concerning the frontal profile of the current W212 is epic, IMO.

Does anyone know if it's possible to put a Sport body kit (rear bumper, front bumper, and side trim) onto a Luxury E350? I've been offered a nearly new E350 Bluetec Luxury from a family friend at a great price but really like the sport body. I wouldn't think that it would be to hard as i believe it is just cosmetic parts that can be switched out but does anyone know otherwise? Might I run into some problems with sport parts not being compatible with a luxury model?

Everything will fit perfect, the only thing you have to chenge is Lower bumper grilles at front. The only problem that it will cost you about $3000 just in parts, plus wheels, labor and a paint job . So you might be better off just buying one that has Sport pack on it already.

Thank you. I'm being offered a 11' model year with under 10,000 miles, way below market value from a family friend whom is switching to a CLS. Even if it costs me 5,000 it'll still come out cheaper than buying new one. I can do labor myself. I also really want to do this because it is a luxury model with full tan interior which I really want but the sport's all have black/tan interiors or black/grey or black.
