Actaully no. I thought the same thing till I saw in the flesh. The luxury is not good. The plastic inserts in the outer bumper openings are terrible. Don't know what they were thinking there. The absence of the exhaust tips is bad. The wheels are blah. The chrome strips on the lower door fascia look like aftermarket. My thoughts exactly.

The sport looks so much smoother in person. Really no comparison.
Yes, it could have been done right with those few changes, but I can't believe this made it off the drawing board.
I do agree that one should be able to get the sport with the traditional grille.
Wait for the next C my man.Uh oh that isn't good Tenn. Then again I've never really liked this E and especially the luxury version. It always looked like a rental to me.
I was thinking about trading/selling the IS250 for an E-Class once I saw the facelift, but I'm still not sold on the car. I'll drive it, but I think this generation E will go down with the W210, unfavorably. Though the facelift is better on the sport model, it seems I would be better looking at something different or wait until the next E. If only there was a gasoline S350 with the new turbo V6, that would be something.
