I tend to agree that the improvement of the 9G compared to the 7G will be very noticeable to those who cruise frequently. 1750 rpm @ 150 km/h is nothing short of impressive!

^lol the engine is bearly breaking a sweat at 1750 rpm..and you can loose your lisence at that speed in most places around the world..

Agreed. Pretty Impressive. Just compared it to what Car & Driver in 1973 proclaimed to be "the greatest Mercedes-Benz ever built".

At 100 km/h indicated on the highway, the engine shows about 2800 rpms, using the original Mercedes-Benz 3-speed automatic.
That's more than twice what the 9G-Tronic E 350 BT should indicate, with 1149 rpms.
