E-Class Official: Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate (S212)

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a range of executive cars manufactured by Mercedes-Benz in various engine and body configurations. Produced since September 1953, the E-Class falls as a midrange in the Mercedes line-up, and has been marketed worldwide across five generations.
Miles behind the Audis, BMWs and Alfas in term of sheer beauty but it's probably a very good wagon.

I'd give the SLS 10-12 days tops. 3-6 days is likely.

Probably so, guess we will have to enjoy the wagon for now. Looks nice in the baby blue. Of course I would never drive a baby blue car, but it looks good in the photos. The AMG version is tempting...but I still would never get one.

Lovely choice of backdrop and champagne exterior colour -- resurrects memories of the Concept Fascination. :)

The main appeal of this car is the non-sense approach. It's the definition of an estate with no sloping roof non-sense to make the car look less then that it is, an estate!

I think E-class Estate looks better than C-class Estate but C Sedan looks better than E Estate. (yes I know, its a difficult sentence)

I like it a lot, but there is just one thing that keeps catching my eye. The rear overhang. The rear overhang makes me feel like the rear is REALLY heavy or fat or something.

This doesn't doesn't look like a "Mercedes-Benz" to me. It also looks like a smaller version of that barf-bag the R-Class, except a bit more squared/boxed, yet of course it is better looking than the mentioned R-Class.

I'm not crazy about it, however I'm not a big W212 fan, and I hate Wagons, so I guess this shouldn't be surprising. I will say however, looking at it from an "open" standpoint, the execution of design is better, and "works" more than the Sedans IMO.

Interesting color to use, that baby-blue, I wouldn't drive it, but I gotta say it is evoking.

I noticed that too. Some of the pics make it look like it's dragging a load, maybe the fender hump helps with that as well.

Really? Is it because it's a wagon? I see nothing similar. It's usually what you would expect from an MB Wagon. Maybe your like me and just don't like wagons...I still don't think it looks bad.

Ok guys...get over this wagon nonsense. This isn't the Mercedes-Benz we're all waiting to see! Its a E sedan with a hump and deep load floor/capacity like every other E wagon since the S123 models.

Where the hell is the big press release about Mercedes-Benz at Frankfurt? That will give the SLS, CL Facelift/S-Class Coupe, this E wagon thing, E-Class Cabriolet, SLS eDrive, and some type of preview of something else.
