Hey guys as you can see I visited two Mercedes dealerships recently..

I must say you need to see the E coupe in real it's a beauty.

This is definitely a bigger car compared to the previous E and it looks very good the car has that real Mercedes feel and class to it..

As somebody said previously it's like the w124 sedan and coupes era.

I'm pretty sure it's Emerald green (Smaragdgrün).

Kallait is only available on the Sedan, and is very similar to the BMW's Midnight Blue.
Kallait green may be seen on official E Class Sedan press photos, the one with the Exclusive grille.

I was playing with the configurator the other day and I couldn't see a selection of Saddle brown leather in Nappa. With cavansite blue, saddle brown is a really nice choice. But I would like to have Nappa leather in my car. Does anyone know why they don't offer it in Nappa?

Also, if I go with macchiatobeige/yatchblau then it will come with the Avantgarde steering wheel which I don't like. Sometimes I can't understand what MB is doing. It shouldn't be a problem with it since it is already available in S Coupe.

Appears to be Piedmont green. Of course color names in the US are completely different.

They were. The final Pfeiffer years were a tumultuous mess.

Agreed. Off the top of my head I would say at least 3 of the 5 all-time ugliest Mercedes were Pfieffer led designs.

Wagner has done an amazing job of not just turning the brand around but making Mercedes an industry style leader again.

NEW M264 MOTORIZING WITH 225 +12 KW STARTING AS E 350 COUPÉ

The new Mercedes-Benz M264 engine - as part of the new high-performance petrol engines with twin-scroll turbocharger from Mercedes-Benz - will be launched in autumn 2017 in the new E-Class Coupé. The 2-liter four-cylinder has a 48-volt electrical system as well as a starter generator - the pendulum belt tensioner - at the front. In the E 350, the Coupé will be offered with a maximum of 225 kW as well as an additional 12 kW electric drive and can be ordered from the beginning of October. First deliveries are made in December.


Boost function up to a maximum of 2,500 rpm The belt-driven starter generators (RSG) of the M 264 not only take over the hybrid functions, but also the comfort start for an almost imperceptible start and acceleration of the engine. The RSG can be additionally boosted up to a speed of up to 2,500 rpm, recuperation up to 12.5 kW is possible. Thanks to a shift in the load point, the operation is possible in a more favorable characteristic field. The belt-driven starter-generator also enables the motor to be booted.



M 264 petrol engine with 1.5 and 2.0 liters displacement According to the initial data from Mercedes-Benz, the M 264 engine will be available as a new 4-cylinder ottomotor in the displacement variants of 1.5 as well as 2.0 liters - as well as in performance variants from 95 to 225 kW. The engine has, inter alia, Via Camtronic on the intake side, as well as a Twinscroll exhaust gas turbocharger and an electric 48 V water pump.


We had already provided all details on the new generations of 4 and 6-cylinder in-line engines for Mercedes-Benz petrol and diesel vehicles already in October 2016 - here, among others. Mercedes Benz, the integrated starter-alternator (ISG) in the 6-cylinder as well as details of the modified 8 cylinder engine of the type M 176 with cylinder cut-off.

Pretty interesting set up so you can't really say the new E50 will have 455hp because they aren't at the same speed?

Probably means the electric power kick in at a different point compare to max engine output.

I am not doing that much of highway cruising so Drive Pilot or Active Lane Keeping assist won't work efficiently. I don't know. I hope I didn't make any mistake. What do you guys think?

Congratulations !! what a nice car and nice specs you have there, which wood trim did you chose ? I would go with the open pore ash wood along with the saddle brown (like my E400 )

I would also recommend the blind spot and braking assist, both are functionally 100% working and helpful.
