Hi!

Yesterday I was messing around with E-Coupe COMMAND unit at my local dealer. And, as usual in MB, it has an engineering or hidden mode as a result of keys combination. You can access by pressing "Hang up" key+1+# (like C-Class) for 5 seconds or so and you enter in engineering mode.

It allows you to change many options and internal settings, ... And, although I know that it is forbidden, I couldn't see the option "Driver Distraction" to enable Video in Motion, present in older models. Here are some pics...

Thanks for pointing that out. I'm sure any new E owner would want to know this bit of info, if it isn't in the manual already.

No it's not in the manual available for the customer. It's a combination of touches who reveals it, that is only thought to be known by the repair centers.

Here it just happens to be the same as the one in the C-Class, that is now known thanks to some well-informed people.

It allows access to some informations (like the list of registered failures, some informations about the GPS software), make some changes (like the DVD region, activate some electronic tweaks and options not available in your country), and also (untill now!) allow the DVD/TV to play during driving.

Looks good...bumper is not all that great, but it looks nice! Those who keep complaining about not having an AMG can purchase this and have just as much fun.

That is why I prefer a sedan. It's not bad if you always drive alone, but very uncomfortable for folks in the back trying to get out.

C'mon it's not that bad. Sure it sucks if you keep making stops and people have to keep going in and out, but if you're just going on a decent drive then what's the issue? They get in the back, you drive for a while, and when you get to your destination you stop. What's the issue? Sure, if you're trying to push gramps in there with bad knees well that's just the owners fault. They should know their priorities.

Lol...Yes it is! I almost lost my life trying to get out of Scion TC.

Nothing against the style of this coupe or anything, but coupes in general are hard to get out of. Even if you put something in the back seat you really have to struggle to get it out.

And don't mess up and lift your head too early...Now that is one hell of a headache. :t-banghea

C'mon a You're comparing this car to a Scion? They are not even the same size.

And yes, I know how to live with coupes. I had an M3 coupe which was my daily driver and friend carrier.
