Concept Official: Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe

Holy shit!
I think I wet my pants!!

This looks amazing!!! Like a futuristic A5 :) Looooove it! Bring it on!!

If the styling is not significantly diluted and Mercedes can keep the prices sensible, I can easily see this thing killing everything in its segment.

We already have seen the mules for this car in its production form. It's not nearly as dramatically pretty as this concept. Nice for what it is, but looks like a stubby 4-Door Coupe a'la VW CC (though this one is even shorter/smaller), and the FWD proportions are as disguised as much as possible via the sleek architecture, but they're still very apparent with the front wheel wells practically touching the front doors.

I think its the pre-CLA but will have other mirrors etc...looks stunning but the bumpers looks more for AMG for me not for normal-one...If it will be CLA - change my mind and buy it not CC;)

I simply LOVE IT!!! I hope the lines of the W222 S-Class are as well resolved.

VS. the new CLS, the lines and creases works better and is more fluent, stunning! :usa7uh:

If nobody realizes just how stupidly amateur and crude the lines on the CLS look, hopefully this much more refined implementation of a similar idea will allow them to see the light. :D

Looking at a pic of the CLS included in that article above, it just looks like a "beta version" per-se, of these same lines-play. Harsh dropping line non-uniformed with the rest of the architecture. At least this concept (who knows about the production version) shows that those lines can work much more coherently if they're thought out and implemented carefully enough.

Seems that the renders are rather on point. Very well-designed concept that hopefully won't be watered down too much for production. A comparison between this concept and the production sheet metal(from the factory in Hungary) might tell us a little more.

I hope the production version retains as much as the A-Class from it's previewing concept..

Funny how everyone just can't stand the lines of the CLS.. :D

I love this concept, absolutely stunning. I believe the S will have the same lines, or at least something similar. You can clearly see the similarities between this and the Concept A. Too bad it will be toned down a bit.

Totally agree. Spy pics show a much wider greenhouse and longer overhangs. If they kept this shape, it would make for a awesome Benz (AWD, of course). But, I am skeptical as well on the havoc real-world considerations are to take on this vision.

Yeah it is gorgeous, too bad the actual production car won't be that hot. It will keep the elements, but that killer shape and proportions will change for real world reasons. You can look at the spy pics and tell that it won't stay so svelte. Color me not excited at all.

But, I am skeptical as well on the havoc real-world considerations are to take on this vision.

It's the same story with the Audi A3 sedan, it's future rival. Once the car is squirted with FWD engine configuration the lustrous body will perish.

I'm not sure about the Audi, that looks production ready except for the mirrors and what not. The proportions are perfect and I don't think they will change at all on the Audi. That is pretty much the A4 from a generation ago in size and proportions.
