Can't agree - CLA will allways need:
1) bi-xenon headlamps because standard halogen look too big and don't fit to the front design
2) 18" wheels (with comfort suspension) because without them CLA looks swollen and cheap although isn't

The front drive over-hang combined with the huge nose proportions and wagon-like rear end make this car look like Hippopotamus.

I am going to add this on my list as one of the worst modern day MB designs.

That base white car has dreadful alloy rims and I am surprised it has halogen main beams!!! I would for sure not get one of these and rather replace the alloys and make the car look more attractive like the brown car.

For me it would be a C-Class no doubt about it, its the better looker.

Yes, the cocoa brown metallic sports the AMG line w/ 18" twin 5-spoke AMGs and BiXenons.

Mercedes-Benz has announced the CLA Shooting Brake will be available at 29,810 EUR (35,040 USD) for the base CLA 180 model with 122 HP (90 kW).

Above it are positioned the CLA 200 (32,725 EUR / 38,500 USD) with 156 HP (115 kW), the CLA 250 (39,746 EUR / 46,720 USD) and the CLA 250 4MATIC (41,948 EUR / 49,300 USD), both with 211 HP (155 kW), and the CLA 250 Sport 4MATIC (45,577 EUR / 53,575 USD) models. The range-topping CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake costs 57,269 EUR (67,320 USD) and offers "the world's most powerful series-produced four-cylinder turbocharged engine" with 360 HP (265 kW).

On the diesel side, there’s the CLA 200 CDI for 34,540 EUR that comes with a 2.2-liter diesel unit, generating 136 HP (100 kW) and a maximum torque of 300 Nm (221 lb-ft). Next is the CLA 220 CDI, also powered by a 2.2-liter powerplant, that costs 39,062 EUR (45,920 USD) and produces 177 HP (130 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) with average fuel consumption rated at only 4.0 l/100 km. From the fourth quarter of the year both diesels will also be available with 4MATIC and will cost 38,919 EUR / 45,750 USD (CLA 200 CDI) and 41,275 EUR / 49,050 USD (CLA 220 CDI) respectively.

^ That's the engineered by AMG version, also known from the A-Class. Can be a bit confusing.

This can get confusing, so read closely. The Jupiter Red model we are featuring is an A 250 with the AMG Sport Line package that includes the sport suspension, while the sturdier Cirrus white car on the track test is the A 250 Sport with chassis tuned by AMG, plus new throttle and transmission mapping. Whereas the red car was pushable through the extremely dynamic remote mountain two-lanes, it is not thoroughly engineered to put up with such treatment. The latter (white) is definitely geared better for hot hatch credibility and can do nearly all the things we wanted the A 250 AMG Sport Line car to do.
