CLA [Official] Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake X117 (2016)

The Mercedes-Benz CLA is a series of luxury subcompact executive cars manufactured by Mercedes-Benz since 2013. The first generation was a four-door sedan based on the platform of the W176 A-Class and W246 B-Class compact cars, marketed as a four-door coupé. In 2015, Mercedes-Benz expanded the CLA family to include a station wagon configuration which it markets as a Shooting Brake. As the V177 A-Class sedan took its place as the budget-conscious sedan, the second generation got longer and wider than the W205 C-Class.
I think I prefer the A3 Sportback.

Something bugs me about the proportions .....and like the regular CLA, the 'Mitsuoka Orochi' undulating curves (particularly towards the rear of the vehicle and the rear lights) are not my taste.

However, the interior looks great.

Some interesting details. The "racing stripes" on the upholstery are perhaps a little tragic .....although I will admit they are stylish; they'll match the Adidas tracksuits of those who'll likely lust after this car.
Agree. The lights, front and rear, need to be trimmed down in size.

Best A class of the range. The far-fetched or rather sci-fi profile of MB's shooting brake makes the awkward front section, and the rear light work out better than on traditional shapes. If i'm ever going to get an A class this is it.

The first CLA Shooting Brake was delivered to the customer at the MB customer center in Sindelfingen. :)

I actually do like this car, think it's better looking and a much more practical car than the CLA saloon/coupe

The practical, un-bleched :) CLA Shooting Brake (length/width/height: 4.630/1.777/1.435 mm) will be shown to the press at the upcoming auto show in Detroit, but not to the public, as the Shooting Brake celebrates its European premiere at the Auto Show in Brussels, from January 16 to 25, 2015. There are no plans to offer it in the US at present, but this may change in the future. Two diesel engines and three petrol drivetrains are said to be in the pipeline, optionally with 4MATIC. The CLA 45 AMG 4MATIC Shooting Brake will likely debut at the same time, as will the "OrangeArt Edition".
