I think it will get it, but I’m just speculating. New grille is significantly bigger compared to the pre-facelift, so adding a black surround to have a harmonious design among the sedan lineup would be logical. I have made a render of it few months ago.

Personally, I am not a fan of this mask but you probably right, they will need to make the C-class styling inline with the E-class and S-class so will need to add in the black grill surround.

As the E-class was the first model to introduce this mask face I am really curious what will happen to the styling of the E-class FL due in 2027. Will it follow the GLC and C-class and use the iconic grill or just get a larger grill to make it look like a mini S-class?

Nothing wrong with the interior that better materials and the latest MBOS won't fix. A new layout isn't needed, better quality and seats are.

The layout of the vertical central screen from an ergonomic point of view is very good as it's easy to use without been a far stretch like the vertical super screens and also the C-class has nice air vent designs. They just need to up the quality of the materials and add in softer touch materials in the lower dash and door cards. Take out the black plastic door trim and replace with wood or other metallic materials will be perfect to uplift the C-class interior.

If I remember correctly, GLC style grille is exclusive to the electric models, so I guess we can expect a bigger grille on E-Class facelift. I’m curious to see what they are gonna change cause it’s pretty flawless, I wouldn’t necessarily change anything. Star shaped DRL’s will definitely appear though, as it doesn’t have enough stars at the moment, lol.
