The all terrain looks stupid AF, station wagon all the way. Those ugly plastic bits and stupid ride height totally ruin it for me. The wagon on the other hand looks superb.

It’s the best looking C ever but that 4-cylinder kills it for me.

Guys, opinions on this: due to the CO2-specific showroom tax in my location, the C200 4Matic (petrol) costs the same as the C300d 4Matic (diesel). The diesel seems to have a lot more power than the petrol, but is it a no-brainer to go for the diesel? What is refinement like? I guess the 300d is still the 4 cylinder engine and has mild-hybrid features? I do low miles so the cost of fuel is not a deciding factor here

Maintenance cost.
I own a bmw 520d, one of my friends had a 428i. Oil change, filters, consumables, for some reason I always paid double price for this. And we were doing the service at the same BMW rep.

If petrol is cheaper than diesel where you live, then go for the C200.

Lack of adaptive dampers on big wheels is a big tell of this review when the vast majority of reviews have praised the chassis tuning when fitted with these.

The standard set up (suspension and dampers) is focused on comfort. Besides of that, the comfort mode of the adaptive dampers is rather limited. His main issue with the car on this matter is, that it uses old technology (W205) on a new car. Little progression and modernization on this classic engineering aspects of a car.

This car is all but forgotten. In its first year. Never see one. Never hear anyone about it. No word of mouth and no hype.

Made quickly in between their mess of an EQ strategy and development... I hope MB themselves don't forget about it.

I've seen one new W206 C-class. That's all. Insane, taking into account that it's made here in SA. What a pity.

The reasons you don’t see much are many. It’s availability (COVID-19 effect) and it’s price (overpriced in my opinion) being the two most important ones.

MB seams to invest only in EV and useless technical gadgets (hyperscreen, 3D driver screen etc.) indeed.

Investing in EV is good because if they don't MB will end up as a subsidiary of some Chinese conglomerate no-one has ever heard of and which is fully in the pockets of the CCP..
Investing in useless crap is not so good lol

Small numbers were produced due to the lack of chips.

^^^ Correct. Mercedes' ATP has sky rocketed in the USA because they are focusing on the E, S, GLS, GLE, and EQS.
